The Wolverine is the newest addition to the OFSI's Mustelidae Class. Fitted with the strongest mechanics available, the Wolverine has proven to be extremely reliable and nearly indestructible. While less technologically equipped than the Weasel LSV, the Wolverine is cheaper to produce. This collection of powerful attributes have resulted in it becoming to go-to truck for most combat situations.

Past midnight this wonderful wolverine showed up at the hide in the swap in Boreal Wildlife Centre. By the looks of him he had been in the wars, his ear was hanging off - almost like it had been degloved - and he was sporting an injury to the back leg, probably as a consequence of a run in with either a bear or wolves. Tenacious animals!
This is a really good example of something going way overboard.
This shot started with a day trip to Universal City Walk in LA with my buddy who was home visiting. In front of the Harley-Davidson store there is a stationary motorcycle. The conversation went something like this: "Hey jump on that bike and give me your camera....we could have a lot of fun with this in photoshop."
As I finished up my first version of this shot, I realized that it reminded me of something out of X-men. Thats when it hit me that X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens this Friday. Sweet! So thats when I slipped in the Wolverine imagery and logo. So here is my plug for the movie...I call it Wolverine Origins: Remix.

We're back from ten or so days in Glacier and Waterton National Parks. One day as we were walking along the highline trail everyone--marmots, pikas, and richardson's and golden mantled ground squirrels--erupted into frantic alarm calls. Finally Mrs. Orca spotted this ferocious thirty-pound weasel, who was the cause of their alarm. I've had so little expectation of ever seeing one of these that I knew almost nothing about them before this trip. However, there was a recent study of them in the park that has been turned into a book by Douglas Chadwick, "The Wolverine Way." It's got some pretty interesting information. For example, one wolverine with a GPS collar was tracked in January--the dead of winter--climbing almost 5000 vertical feet of snowbound mountain-face to summit Glacier's tallest mountain in only ninety minutes. Another surprising discovery was that wolverines are raised by their mothers, but later also spend some time traveling with their fathers after they grow up. Another incredible fact is that there is still some legal trapping of these animals, despite them being one of the rarest in the Lower Forty-Eight (you're better than that, Montana). Anyway, both the sight of and reading about this animal put quite a charge into us. Wolverine along the Highline Trail, Glacier National Park, Montana.
This is Mixels-Wolverine. I've used the yellow and blue color scheme to represent the classic comic book version of Wolverine.
This was my second year of going to take photos of the Halloween Pub Crawl, in downtown Springfield, Missouri.
