In Dutch mythology and legends, the Witte Wieven are spirits of "wise women" (or else elven beings). Witte wieven in modern Dutch literally translates to "white women", but originally meant "wise women" in dialects of Dutch Low Saxon. "Wit" or "witte" meant wise in a way similar to the English "witty".
Famously described as ‘the happiest show in town’, Chester Operatic Society celebrates 100 years of musical theatre with a treat for musical fans of all ages.
Bill Snibson, a Lambeth costermonger, is revealed to be the new Earl of Hareford and his newly discovered aristocratic relations are horrified. Bringing him to Hareford Hall, they attempt to educate Bill into the ways of the gentry and to separate him from his cockney girlfriend Sally. The result? Chaos of the most comical kind!
With a host of hilarious characters, witty one-liners and several toe-tapping, uplifting songs (including the famous Lambeth Walk, The Sun Has Got His Hat On and Leaning on a Lamp Post) Me and My Girl is a sublime and sunny treat for all fans of musical comedy!

Witty's Lagoon is a beautiful location in Metchosin just outside Victoria BC. Varied landscapes and lots of opportunites for wildlife viewing.
Found at vk.com/winxclubrus I don't own these images, and I will remove them if asked.
I think she's pretty even though Mattel and Giochi did better versions.
The downside to these new dolls is (as I guessed) thhey are exclusive to the Chinese market according to winxclubrus. I thought they would be because China just got Winx and Rainbow might want them to have all 6 girls in the assortments. I think the collections would have sold very well in Europe with Musa and Tecna.

I am way too tired to think of something witty to say. After a busy weekend, I did my long run this morning (can we say hot and humid and now I am chafed) and then worked on my teaching presentation for that class I'm taking. It is kicking my rear and all the research has my brain going numb. Why can't they just say what they mean instead of mixing the message up with a lot of technical sounding words and long phrases?
I'm thinking of starting a club for people who use small words. You know, just to keep things simple.
