WL-WCC-01 series wireless automatic curtain controller is based on Zigbee HA standard design. When you wake up in the morning or before you are back home, curtain can automatically open; when you are going to sleep, curtain can automatically close. All these actions don’t need to seek remote controller or press wall control button, what you need to do is making a gesture by your mobile phone. Moreover, the curtain also has scene mode. When emergency situations like illegal breaking in, fire disaster, gas leakage or burglary happens in your home, curtain can automatically open to help you relieve the emergencies. Furniture will suffer from the blazing sunshine if you forget closing the curtain when you leave home, however, the curtain can automatically close and all these actions can be finished automatically without manual operation.

I took the liberty to track this product down after seeing it on Strobist. I had my father go to Hong Kong and buy a set for me and 2 extra transmitters.
From my initial testings, it is very reliable as I can fire off the flash from the other side of my house.
What I find problematic is using a master on a transmitter. It takes a little while for the master TTL commands to travel so after the camera goes into hibernation, it takes 5-10 seconds before the master will start triggering optical slaves.
I tried to use the camera side illumination button to wake up the flashes, but it seems hitting the test flash button will ready the optical slaves and the radio triggers to go. But having to do that every time the camera goes into hibernation may not make using radio and optical triggers together not as reliable.
After playing around with it, what it seems like is a wireless TTL cord. on the radio triggers, when attached, it tricks the camera into thinking the flash unit you have on the receiver is actually on the camera. It separates the commands by setting on reciever on master or slaves.
For the price, they work wonderfully and if you don't try to mix radio and optical triggers, they are 100% reliable. Otherwise, if the opticals are working with the radio, it'll take them a little while for the optical and radio to sync after the camera goes into hibernation.
The ostensibly non-tech rest stop just north of Abernathy, Texas (just north of Lubbock on I-27 on the way to Amarillo) offers free wireless Internet connections. Unfortunately for me, their homepage would load but I could not log on-- not sure if this was their problem or mine. Still, I was amazed this was available!
For "Our Daily Challenge ... music" My husband is a bit deaf so he uses these so that he can have his music (or the television) loud enough to hear without the whole neigbourhood having to listen too.

My in-law has been sending me emails asking for suggestions on how to improve the wireless internet connection in their house. I asked where the router was located, and where the computer having the trouble was located. The two were probably no more than 15 feet from one another. On different floors of the house.
I couldn’t imagine a router that would perform so poorly, so I asked her to send me a photo of it so I could figure out the brand. When I got these photos I kept looking for an antenna.
I was able to read the model number off the second photo. After looking it up (it’s a Motorola SB5100) I realized they didn’t have wireless after all. They have been apparently using some nearby wireless network, thinking they were using their own.
Geeks love well intentioned folks like this. Gives us stuff to talk about over a beer!
