A part of Richmond, Virginia where it is best to take the photo from inside the car! I was struck by the name of the business and the power pole and mass of wires just outside the door

Looking close ... on friday 20.11.2020 "Telephone"

It's time for a new riddle!

Update!!!

Guess what it is! Everybody has only one unlimited attempts here on Flickr.

But If you are on facebook.com too, you have a second attempt there you could participate there too!

And in addition i give some hints!

1. It is a 'real' macro, taken with a 105mm macro lens and 3 extension tubes (total 65mm)! That means a magnification much higher than 1:1! It's the result of focus stacking of 10 shots!

2. It is food. But you see the 'surface' of the part which you don't eat.

3. It comes NOT from an animal and I ate the contents after photographing!

The winner has the choice of the topic/theme for my next upload! :-)

Flickr Friday theme Wireless. This is my first walkie talkie. I can't remember when it was but I wasn't driving a car yet.

Enjoying trying to find high contrast images around the house (with a hint of minimal too)...

Soundcore Q20i can be listened with wire or go wireless with bluetooth. I use both but prefer the wireless so not to get tethered by cord.

Virtual visit and real amusement. Maybe we just work too much... :-)

Original shot taken with an Olympus E-500 digital SLR, 8 megapixel shot, zuiko 9-18mm zoom, various post processing.

I never leave home without my 3-year oid Samsung Galaxy bluetooth earbuds for music listening and for those impromptu Zoom meetings I can do on the go with my smartphone.

I found this old radio in the parlor of my next door neighbor and loved it.

Walking through Little Wittenham Wood with Damain Ward we came across a wonderful collection of trees on the edge of a clearing where there had been some forestry work. It is a managed wood, so there are always piles of logs kicking around. The trouble was the head high deer fence that run round them. So lifting the tripod up and thankfull for my new wireless shutter release I grabbed some frames and this is the result of two of them stitched together. I liked the way the main tree seemed to be moving into the clearing to see what had been done, with a hint of sadness.

New this year, some signal loss has inevitably resulted in a few teething fatalities. This is only to be expected in a new system but when it works, it works well.

I used to live in Tokyo and thought that the profusion of overhead cables there was greater than anywhere else. But Bangkok beats it. Hands down. Look up and the first thing you see is a veritable spaghetti of wires.

This shot was taken on - of all places - Wireless Road and is part of the Thai lines and My Thai - a cocktail of shots sets.
