Commission for a friend's sister's birthday gift. Huge snowflake obsidian cab wrapped with Sterling silver wire and strung on a beaded necklace of freshwater pearls, snowflake obsidian, "ice" quartz and black onyx. Matching earrings have the same beads as the necklace and are strung on Sterling silver wire.
Made with an interesting stone, not sure what it is but I would love to know to get more of these @.@ I bought this stone at a store out in the desert where they had a bin of rocks and you could stuff as many as you could fit into a little baggie for 7 bucks. I stuffed that shit up! The cashier said the bag looked pregnant XD I got my moneys worth :D
Don't worry about how the short wire is not tight against the shaft. As you wrap the long wire around them both, it will pull the shaft and short wire together.

Silver pendant made of fine and sterling silver with prehnite and green aquamarine. Cabochon has an open back setting to let light pass through it.
This is my party set for the season - necklace, bracelet and earrings made from hammered copper plus modern and vintage glass beads. The asymmetric clasp is a wired lis kidder cabachon. The third strand on the necklace is crocheted copper with citrine and crystal chips (possibly some light amber too).
Aluminum wire wrapped earrings with glass matte beads. I have been trying to finish this since before Christmas! Yay! I really dislike UFO's or (unfinished objects).
Icy Romance 6-Jan-2012 This piece is another personal best! This lampwork heart has an ombre freckeled base starting with a cool blue and graduating to a sunset purple pink shade. The based is encased in clear, then a lovely buttercup yellow daisy adorns one of the corners of the heart. High quality Swarovski crystals finish the shape of the heart and accent the hues of the bead. At the bottom of the heart dangles a beautiful teal Swarovski Crystal that helps bring out the beautifule sea tones in the lampwork piece. A lovely wirewrapped bail completes this pendant. From the top of the bail to the bottom of the dangling teal crystal the artisan pendant is 2.5 inches long. Wearable art at its finest!
