Triple strand silver/copper ring with a really pretty iridescent bead, the camera really doesn't catch the color well enough.
Non tarnish silver artistic wire is what I used for this.
I made the polymer clay round beads using polymer clay, nail art foils, metallic foils and Triple Thick Gloss Glaze. I used 20 and 24 gauge wire for the wire-wrapped elements.
Seven teardrop-shaped stone drops (possibly rutilated quartz though they were a gift so I'm not entirely sure) are suspended on bronze wire from large jump rings, which in turn are connected by byzantine-style chainmaille segments. The piece if finished with spiraled chain links and measures about 16", with a 2.5" extender. I named it after the Norse goddess of beauty and fertility, Freya, as it seemed to have a vaguely Nordic look.

In this very elegant pendant necklace, a real natural Japanese Maple leaf was dipped in pure 99.9 Silver to make a stunning pendant. Complimenting the cool tones of the silver is a BIG showstopping 'AA' grade diamond faceted violet Amethyst gemstone wirewrapped with an 'AA' grade Black Onyx bead. It was then finished off with an elegant Sterling Silver Cable chain and Lobster Claw clasp.

Hurray! I took a much anticipated wire-wrapping pendant class yesterday at High Tide Beads, our local bead shop. These were the two pendants I wire-wrapped. :D Now I know they aren't perfect by any means, but I'm very pleased with the results. Just need to practice,practice, practice and iron out some of the kinks. This could be a great addiction! Oh, no, not another one! MUCH more practice with copper then on to sterling. MY mind is reeling with all sorts of ideas :)
I love this style of wrapping a cabochon because it adds just enough to the stone without taking over the personality of the stone. Hope that makes sense :) Plus, both sides are equally as nice (although I kind of messed up the other side of this one).

This amazonite has pyrite in it. This makes for a very modern painting type picture in stone. This pendant is wire wrapped in copper wire.

"Moonrise" ~ This is a more simplified version of another ring in my shop with the same name. The spirals have been reduced to simple loops for a more subdued look, but no less stunning. I designed this silver wirewrapped ring with a brilliant faceted AAA Fire Rainbow Moonstone briolette as the focus with its brilliant iridescent flashes of blues, greens. I chose the perfect compliments of AAA grade crimson Garnet and warm Tundra Sapphire beads that resemble the deep colors of an Autumn sunset with a big Harvest Moon on the horizon. These are wrapped with highly tarnish resistant and nickel-free Argentium Silver completely around a handcrafted Argentium Silver ring frame.
It has a gentle give to it, great for when fingers swell a little. With it's organic, nature inspired lines and romantic, yet vintage feel, it would make a truly special gift for that fashion savvy gal who likes something just a little different to polish off her unique style, that includes you. ;) Also, Moonstone is considered a traditional birthstone for the month of June, Garnet is January, and Sapphire is September.

"Dew Drops" ~ I designed this stunning gemstone front clasp pendant necklace around gorgeous Luxe AA grade Blue Fire Labradorite with its vibrant iridescent flashes of blue and green like early morning dew drops dripping off of delicate Spring leaves. To make those cool gems pop, I added warm Carnelian that vary in shades of honey to red orange. I wirewrapped these lovely little beauties together to form an dangle of pure shimmer and then attached them to an elegant Sterling Silver Cable chain.
