~ this is my absolute fave ~

Yes I've had these since June 2008 BUT BUT BUT I'm chosen to work with my amazing, exquisite, specially-crafted-for-Sheela-based-on-Sheela's-specifications Jennifer Morris artisan clay beauties to kickstart 2009.

The new year will begin, for me, with a series of pretties made with these.

Square Wire wrapped necklace

This bracelet is made with Swarovski's Tanzanite 2x AB crystals and Bali sterling silver. I love the rich color of the crystals paired with the sterling silver. Since the crystals have a double finish on them, they sparkle like there's a light inside them.

The length of this bracelet is 7.25" long and has two dangles wire wrapped to the sterling silver toggle clasp.

"Blue Star" ~ This lovely iridescent blue green beauty seems plucked from the night sky. In this necklace I wirewrapped a big Blue Flash smooth Labradorite Horse Eye gemstone together with a smooth deep red Garnet and Sterling Silver wire and then hung it from a handmade Sterling Silver spiral bail and Cable Chain. The necklace was then lightly oxidized to give it a subtle darkened patina that highlights the wirework and contrasts with the focal stone. This unique artisan necklace makes a one of a kind addition to your jewelry collection or a lovely gift for someone special.

So.... "feathers" are currently ubiquitous...and not just on birds. In hair, in jewelry, and most of all- in earrings. Therefore, I've been debating whether or not to list these fluffy feathered ear candies for fear of "jumping on the bandwagon".

But, hell with it- I love these white wing-like earrings. I never fail to get compliments whenever I'm wearing them. And the craftsmanship is excellent, if I may say so of my own creation.

The feathers are suspended from intricate clusters of white and greenish-gold freshwater pearls, and handmade ear wires.

They can be bad**s or saintly- it all depends on how you choose to wear them.

Thunder Egg Agate Gemstones hand wrapped in sterling and fine silver wire. These stones are almost identical in markings, although they are a slightly different color at the tip. This makes them an extremely unique looking pair. One of my favorites!

This modern necklace is a striking color splash with three chunky faceted creamy blue-green Amazonite beads wirewrapped together with alternating sparkly AA Citrine washer beads and then flanked with varying shades of red-orange Carnelian round beads to form a stunning focal pendant. In addition, more small creamy light blue Amazonite bead clusters are spaced evenly along an elegant sterling silver Cable chain and finished with a Lobster Claw clasp.
