These wires have recently appeared on a nearby commercial building. Any have any idea what they're for? My only guess is to keep birds off the ledge.
Handmade. Wire wrapped sea glass. Sea glass found by me on one of the beaches of Mallorca and this is one I made inspired by the unique beauty of the butterflies and their fragility and delicacy.

Here it was already really dark, but I just shooted with F/1.8 and 1/60s. Begins to be quite noisy, ISO6400, but still usable (thanks D700!).
Edited in Colox Efex Pro 4 and www.picmonkey.com (adding the texture and the frame).
PS. I am editing these images in my laptop, and I am very scared of how my images do actually look... I have no idea of the color and brightness accuracy, they cannot be very good... At least I know that my laptop screen is brighter and less saturated, I think. So if you see some oversaturated, too dark or anything strange in my images, please tell me! Next I am going to buy an external screen and hopefully calibrate it too. Just have to save some money first.
Whilst waiting on The Street in Aylmerton last Tuesday I looked up to see this web of wires and immediately thought of Flickr friend Les.
