Aquesta foto la vaig fer perquè hi vaig reconèixer un dels fons d'escriptori del Windows. Ara ho he mirat, i es diu "felicidad"
This didn't turn out so good. It's actually a picture of my television running WindowsXP. Well, really, it's playing a DVD showing windows, but it was frightening enough.

Notice that there's no "Display" device field between "Computer" and "Disk drives".
Also note the PCI Simple Communications Controller error status:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."
A re-invokation of Ronald Reagan's (RIP) ill-fated 'Star Wars' program of 'space lasers' that was featured in the X-Files.
Playback error gives a centered yellow vertical stripe in video window. The yellow shadow image seems to be 180 degrees out-of-phase horizontally, as you can see the left & right edges of the screen split the yellow 'E' character in the shadow-image of 'TED'.
What is causing this?
It works fine on the Windows7 box with appearently all the same settings.
But on WindowsXP this yellow stripe shows up.
Could it be the fact that the computers are using different video cards?
Is there a setting I can use to correct the error in CODEC configuration settings on XP?
Even a correct technical diagnosis of this problem would help, as I don't even know what to CALL this kind of error, only how to describe its visible character.
