Some of you asked about the Easter decoration this year. Just talked on the phone to *hoppetosse* www.flickr.com/photos/22587272@N05/ and we complained about not getting the Spring and Easter feeling this year due to the grey weather. Will try again tomorrow to decorate a bit

ma di seguito ne trovate altre per tutti i gusti, da quelle romantiche a quelle vecchiotte passando per quelle curiose o quelle tenebrose :)

Stained glass window "By faith Abraham was tried offering up Isaac" - Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Uffington, Lincolnshire.
I like the way sunlight reflected by windows across the street highlights several windows on the West face of the Hotel Vancouver. The image is a little soft because it was shot through a double glazed window at an angle.
My first attempt at a window card....It was fun!! I tried to keep the design simple, but the funny thing is that I used more stamps sets then ever before :)) TFL

A painted window in the village of Zalipie, Poland. In Zalipie, houses are adorned with floral paintings in the style of a famous ceramics artist, Felicja Curylowa, who lived in the village. Today, local women are taught how to paint in her style and anything that can be painted - is painted. As well as the 20 or so decorated houses the fire station, church, a farm, bridge, dog kennel and rabbit hutch were also seen with floral decorations. June 2011
February Challenge Day 2: View from my window.
Oh how I suffer for my photography. I had to use a 30 second timer dash to get this. The major bummer was that our driveway is covered in bird poop. Damn Birds.

A window at the century old station house in Tungelsta. Today you will find Handlaget here. But the former Station Master still lives in an apartment on the second floor.
These recent images Rural Decay in Nova Scotia have got me delving into the archives revisiting some past excursions and some shots that have never seen the light of day. This window shot being one of them taken in December 2010. I had so much difficulty with this image largely due to the wonky window and boards, there was a ledge just above the window which I cropped as it made the image too top heavy, hence the window is now too near to the top for my liking really.

It is such a lovely view when the chestnuts in the park are in bloom. You don't fee like living in smalltown downtown
HWW! This is the Basel Messeturm (Basel Trade Fair Tower) at dusk in summer. It is the is third-tallest building in Switzerland (105 m). Of course, it is not much of a skyscraper by international standards; more of a just an "airscraper." The world's tallest skyscraper is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (828 m).
The tallest building in Switzerland is also in Basel; the 178 m Roche Tower. It will be soon be joined by the even taller (205 m) Roche Research Tower. Not a bad set of "airscrapers" for a rather small city (pop. ca. 177 thousand) which is also only the third-largest Swiss city. Basel is less than half the size of Switzerland's largest city, Zürich. Geneva is the second-largest.
Location: Basel City, Canton Basel, Switzerland.
