For #Flickr Friday - Unreal - Painted window on what used to be an infant school for the children of the fisherfolk of Ferryden. Built 1837.

Not sure exactly what is going on in this scene; clearly some window dressing internally, however, what these three people have to do with what is going on inside the shop is anyone's guess. The Mannequin staring out (directly at me) adds a slight eeriness to the scene.

Shop window in a deserted Columbia Road (London) on 29th March 2020. A week earlier crowds were still flocking to the famous flower market.

I rarely use just window light tbh. It's nice, but a bit boring. With these big shutters on the windows though, I can create a narrower light.

While photographing the 1922 Liberty around the old farm on October 16, 2012 I noticed this derelict window in one of the barns. The single remaining pane of glass appears to be holding on for all it's worth!

For window Wednesday.

I took this pic during our trip to Berlin, earlier in the year. It wasn't a great shot but for some reason I didn't delete it. I altered the angle and spiced the colour up a bit to try to make it a bit more interesting. HWW

Snow is pretty to look at...I'll give it that much and fun to play in too, but try being serious and productive in the stuff and then you'll see what I mean when I say, "winter sucks".

The windows on the front of the gym have been given a surround to match that of the diner downstairs

Out shooting with James, we ended up in Hole In the Wall Panther beach, the sky was not fantastic, but from this window, it got fired up....

Its back to reality for Cameron as he gets stuck in fitting the bay window

Windows in the historic building, the former power plant of the Karol Scheibler Joint-Stock Company in Łódź. Built in 1910–1911, according to the design of Latvian architect Alfred Frisch. The building stands on the site of the former Scheibler textile mill, which is currently being transformed into the new city center -Fuzja..

The building is the oldest reinforced concrete industrial structure with a frame structure within the Kingdom of Poland.

© David K. Edwards. The glorious Rose Window, destroyed yesterday. Bummer. Unless (breaking news) it was not destroyed. Devoutly to be wished ....

Is there someone behind?

Stained glass window by the artist Alphonse (Alfons) Mucha in the cathedral of St Vitus.

The cathedral is at the castle complex in Prague. This Gothic church was founded in 1344, replacing an older, Romanesque church, but not finished for quite some time - actually not until 1929, with a lot of work going on throughout the 19th century (apart from finishing the cathedral, it was also to get rid of elements that did not feel suitable, like a lot of the Baroque elements).
