A cat in a window.
I've seen this cat often, but finally I had the right light to catch it in.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
This is a favourite window of both mine and of my cat Kitty. It was cold and windy outside but toasty warm inside. This is the window from which I shoot birds on the DIY perch. Of course I pop the screen out to do my shooting. Although Kitty has several locations that she enjoys sleeping or napping in, this is at or near the top of her favourites.
Colour outside is from Sunflowers, and this image is a lead-in to a series I have shot of those sunflowers.
This is a photo of the grillwork over one of the windows on Bok Tower, known as the Singing Tower, at Bok Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida.
The Singing Tower is the centerpiece of the gardens. Built on the highest elevation on the site, south of a reflection pool that allows the water to reflect its full image, (see my album) it houses a 60-bell carillon set within the 205-foot-tall Gothic revival and Art Deco tower that was designed by architect Milton B. Medary.

Radar tower in Cuxhaven, Germany, at night after a downpour. The two windows on the right in the foreground are part of the lighthouse.
Inside Lindisfarne Castle, looking out on to a very foggy day. I liked the unusual curtain fixings, they are on hinged rails that fold back across the window when required... A second HWW today!
