I like the way sunlight reflected by windows across the street highlights several windows on the West face of the Hotel Vancouver. The image is a little soft because it was shot through a double glazed window at an angle.

Peeking through the windows of an abandoned house is like stealing a glimpse into a life once lived.
I was really hoping to capture more detail of some old photographs that were curling and fading on top of a bookshelf just inside the windowpane. Unfortunately, using a medium format camera is a challenge when the subject is elevated, as you have to get up even higher to be able to look down through the viewfinder. I did actually climb up on the outside air conditioner unit, but you can see from the images below that this still wasn't quite enough height. Good fun though.
My first attempt at a window card....It was fun!! I tried to keep the design simple, but the funny thing is that I used more stamps sets then ever before :)) TFL

February Challenge Day 2: View from my window.
Oh how I suffer for my photography. I had to use a 30 second timer dash to get this. The major bummer was that our driveway is covered in bird poop. Damn Birds.
These recent images Rural Decay in Nova Scotia have got me delving into the archives revisiting some past excursions and some shots that have never seen the light of day. This window shot being one of them taken in December 2010. I had so much difficulty with this image largely due to the wonky window and boards, there was a ledge just above the window which I cropped as it made the image too top heavy, hence the window is now too near to the top for my liking really.

It is such a lovely view when the chestnuts in the park are in bloom. You don't fee like living in smalltown downtown
