I added a new flower to my dreamed of spring bulb garden - a beautiful red Windflower. After I took its "welcome to my garden" photo, I took that photo to Deep Dream Generator and then to Topaz Studio for a happy result :)

Anemone flowers are wildflowers that grow in many parts of Europe, North America and Japan. The name anemone is derived from Greek which means “windflower.” The name comes from the fact that the delicate flowers are blown open by the wind, which in turn blows away the dead petals as well. [...].
The most significant anemone flower meaning is anticipation. This is because the anemone flowers close up at night and open back up in the morning. Due to its wild nature, the flower specifically symbolizes relaxation and serves as a reminder to enjoy the moment in order to take in opportunities at the right time. According to the Victorian language of flowers, anemone flowers also signify fragility.
Purple anemone flowers symbolize protection from evil.
The windflower or wood anemone is an early-spring flowering plant native to Europe.In the wild the flowers are usually white but may be pinkish, lilac or blue, and often have a darker tint on the backs of the tepals.
Das Windröschen ist eine in Europa beheimatete, im Frühjahr blühende Pflanze, deren Blüten in der Natur meist weiß sind, aber auch rosa, lila oder blau sein können und oft eine dunklere Färbung auf der Rückseite der Blütenblätter aufweisen.

Woodland Anemone
Anemone - 'Daughter of the Wind' or 'Windflower'.
You can see how similar the centre of this little gem is to the much larger Japanese Anemones - yet they are so different. The much taller - 3 to 4 feet or so - leggy Japanese versions we have live up to their names dancing merrily in the slightest breeze, whilst these little beauties prefer a shady sheltered spot and are only a few cm high.
