Windmill working at high speed.

Windpower generators in the Crowsnest Pass in southern Alberta. These enormous turbines turn incessantly in the wind that never really seems to stop in the area.

but is it a portrait, a landscape, or wildlife?

Meteorological tower equipment. Used for testing wind on site.

People say it's a blot on the landscape, but i love it. On a clear day we can see the windmills from our house. Up close they are AMAZING.

Taken out the passenger window while driving on Interstate 10 in Southern California.

The end of the bottom segment of the tower is to the left and soars over the large tractor. The segment behind the tractor is the second segment which fits on top of the lower segment.
