this is just a few of the many hundreds of wind turbines that took over the landscape on the way to Palm Springs.

Photos from an impromptu journey northeast. I was just sort of having fun driving around, and I wound up following a new set of power lines - it took a while before I realized that they must be for the new wind power setup, and in the next moment I realized that all I had to do was follow the power lines to get to the station - so I did!

I was in Central Texas today. Windmills as far as the eye can see. It was a beautiful day!

Windpower generators in the Crowsnest Pass in southern Alberta. These enormous turbines turn incessantly in the wind that never really seems to stop in the area.
