FAMILIAR black, grey and white bird. The Pied Wagtail has a bounding flight and distinctive habit of pumping its tail up and down. They love locations such as playing fields and supermarket car parks, where this one was captured, but I was willing it to go into a little grass area to get a better image.

Thank you so very much Al my precious ♥ σε αγαπώ πάντα ♥
to be a useful, happy woman, and I don't think that is a bad ambition. Even if I only do what my dear mother did, earn my living honestly and happily, and leave a beautiful example behind me, to help one other woman as hers helps me, I shall be satisfied :)

The Cedar Waxwing was calling from this single open branch. Often feeding in trees with fruit or blossoms, this one took an open spot and allowed me to grab a few shots.

Because this Blue Tiger Butterfly stayed on the Cornflower for a long time, I had the opportunity to look for various background colours. The purple halo comes from a Brunfelsia flower.
For people willing to make the long walk along the Upper Iowa River through some of the most scenic karst topography in Iowa, finally seeing Malanaphy Springs falling into the river is frosting on the cake.
I haven't been out taking photos recently as it's been grey dank and wet, but I've been trying my hand at some oil paintings . This is a sunset from a few weeks back, I'm just hoping we'll have. a few more sunsets soon. the Heart is Willing is by A A Bondy
This is a long exposure from Widemouth bay in Cornwall, I'd spotted these layers with sand wave patterns in them, they looked so beautiful, and you could imagine the scene when they were formed millions of years ago. The heart is willing is a great track by A A Bondy, and has no great meaning, apart from even when I've got a bad back , I still will myself down the beach.
Columbines are hardy flowers that grow in a range of adverse conditions up to an elevation of 9000 ft, therefore they’re symbols of endurance, perseverance and the willingness to take risks.

When my daughter was around 8-10 years old (she's now 31)... she wanted this tiny little plant that was in a small clay pot to keep in her room.... and she named it Harold.
Years later, she went off to collage and I cared for him... he has branched off and also graduated into a larger clay pot!!
Knowing you are there,
present and willing to lift me up

lets me know I'm not alone and
fills my heart with gratitude and love.
Thank you honey for always being there for me.

I'm so grateful for some of my Flickr friends, so willing to share incredibly talented musicians with me!!! Matthew just shared with me this renowned pianist, Glenn Gould's link with me... Beautiful!!! I'm so in love with his music, and going to figure out more about him once I get back to my computer.

She sighs deeply as the elven princess makes her way out from the ceremony chamber where the elf rangers await to escort her to the boarder. Liara has decided that the only way to save her father King Ulrich and the dying elven kingdom of Ul'thane is to make barter with her own body for the peace of the kingdom.
Orc hoarde lead by General Shrogg has been at war with Ul'Thane for the past year and the orcs have made way into the Sacred Forest where the last remaining walls still hold before they breech the elven kingdom.
By giving herself willingly as demanded by General Shrogg, she hopes that it will bring peace to the Kingdom. As for her own fate and what the Orc general will do with her as concubine, that remains to be seen.

What are you willing to do to get that one perfect shot? This one entailed stopping on a lift bridge on the highway and hanging out the window. Now I am not saying that was the smartest move, but in my defense, there was no traffic and I was only stopped for a second, hehe.
With over 1000km of coast to explore on PEI you are bound to find some unique areas and if you are willing to take a hike along the water you will be rewarded with some fantastic albeit transitory scenery. The coastline of PEI has been eroding since it broke off from the mainland and the annual rate of shoreline lost is 1 foot especially following big weather events. With the rate of erosion happening whatever you shoot as a coastal image will not be replicated as nature removes an epidermal layer everyday making every image capture a unique one.

An American goldfinch (Spinus tristis) sits on a Purple coneflower stem willing it to be more ripe. Just before this shot the same male goldfinch was on a goldenglow blossom. We are lucky to have them year round but they only have their bright yellow breeding plumage spring to fall.
Its always nice having friends willing to Collab. So always feel free to hit me up if interested :) (Standasone) CriXus
The brightly colored flowers of the Dusty Miller plants seemed to entice many small critters. I was delighted to find so many photographic subjects willing to allow my camera lens to be just inches from their bodies. I suppose I just blended into the background.
This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "In the Light".
I know, it's been a few weeks since I've posted a picture of Noah... he keeps running from the paparazzi! :)
Elijah on the other hand is more than willing to pose next to one of his new pumpkins in the sunlight. It even has "Salem" on it. :)
Next week I will be starting a new round of chemo. I can no longer get the immunotherapy treatments since it caused my breathing to be so labored. I'm not sure if I will be able to post new photos in the next several weeks. I was told that one treatment will be like getting three treatments all at once. I am hoping that since I did so good with the last round of chemo that I will not have any problems with these next two.
On the lighter side... I have been so happy with my 2 1/2 inches of hair... and now it's more than likely going to fall back out. 😬 I wonder if I can find one of those knitted hats with the long tail like I used to have as a kid in the 70's?! That should keep me warm with this cooler weather coming. ;)
This single frond of a Swordfern seemed to be beckon me to come closer. I was willing to comply, especially once I had my camera in hand.
I have been busy today putting my photos onto CDs. We are going to Victoria on Thursday and we are dropping the computer in for an overhaul whilst we are away and I was told that I would be better to add my photos to CDs or risk losing them. After losing all my photos a while back when the hard disk died, I wasn't willing to risk it again.
Window light and as close as I can get (about one meter). I am convinced now that this combo (Leica M8 plus Elmar 50/2.8) is capable of interesting portrait photography. I just need to find people willing to sit for me.
Yesterday our Golden Retriever, Cooper, celebrated nine glorious years upon this planet. His muzzle might show a bit of grey fur, but his joy in chasing a ball is still ever present. I've never known a dog that is so mellow with children and is always willing to wag his tail if someone makes eye contact.
This colorful mother hen was willing to let me creep close enough to study her three little chicks. If you visit the Hawaiian island of Kauai, you will find these beautiful fowl everywhere.
Most people suggest that the feral chicken population can be traced back to when Hurricane Iniki hit Kauai in 1992. It has been reported that the devastating hurricane destroyed a number of chicken farms.
