Também conhecido como birro e joão-pires, o gibão-de-couro (Hirundinea ferruginea) é uma ave passeriforme da família Tyrannidae.

Esta espécie apresenta uma estreita associação com escarpas e paredões rochosos. Pode também ser encontrada dentro de cidades, pousada nos parapeitos no alto de prédios, mourões de cerca e nas antenas de televisão.

Como seu próprio nome científico diz, em seu corpo predomina a cor ferrugem com tons variando para cinza escuro, as asas e a ponta da cauda são cinza escuras com detalhes em ferrugem, o peito é mais avermelhado que o dorso e a cabeça.

Caça insetos no ar por meio de manobras rápidas e acrobáticas.

Constrói o seu ninho em beiradas de janelas e em outros locais abrigados da chuva e do vento. O ninho é aberto em forma de tigela e inicialmente é forrado com pequenas pedras, depois gravetos e no final é forrado com fibras vegetais macias. Põe de 2 a 3 ovos brancos com manchas ferrugem.

Wiking 15c Mercedes-Benz 300SE Cabrio. 1:87 scale plastic model made in Germany. The base of this one is marked 15c so it is the later 280SE version. I think the body colour is light ivory, in which case the Wiking-Datenbank reference will be 153-4-5 (15c/153) 1968-1976.

Wiking DKW F800 truck - reissue in the style of the early models. From a set issued in 2003. The original of this was made from 1953-1960, but always seemed to have the body in the same colour as the cab/chassis. Wiking Datenbank ref: 360-4-1
