On a small island, in a small lake, there is this nearly dead tree, and on this tree, there are dozens of Cormorant nests. Additionally, there are at least three Great Blue Heron nests (not shown in the picture). All of those birds eat fish. It's hard to imagine that the small lakes in a Denver, Colorado suburb can support so many large birds, but these nests have been in use every year that I have visited in the last eight years.

The whole world consists of three parts namely Africa, Asia and Europe.

The most beautiful of these is Europe and Italy is the most beautiful country of Europe and from Italy is Lombardy the most beautiful part.

Lake Garda is the most beautiful part of Lombardy and from Lake Garda , Punta di San Vigilio is the most beautiful place.

Ergo Punta di San Vigilio is the most beautiful place in the world..........

I was able to spent a whole week on Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm. It was a fantastic week. I strolled over the alp fields 2 to 3 times per day. This picture shows the awakening of a new day. Compatsch, 2020.

Organic Pizza made with whole wheat flour, milk, yeast,

green salt, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, tomatoes paste. I have seen a pizza covered entirely with tomato sauce/paste and I thought it looked great with that brown gold color. The cheese melted all over around and gave that nice shiny look.

It was very tasty.

We went almost the whole year without a single flake and now we're blessed with snowfall after glorious snow fall. Nell loves it as much as I do. <3

The big circular web woven by an enterprising spider on my front verandah of my house.

The broken bits near the foreground were caused by me when I got too close while photographing the trapped insect and accidentally touched it with my fingers.

Tune: Hometown www.youtube.com/watch?v=asURM4uVkRA

Wren: I think I started to worry about Twain when he came into our classes later and later ...

Kitten: Wren is correct. Twain rarely paid attention to the speakers. He is known for being rude. But, now, something was different.

Wren: Yes. He seemed , ... as though he was 'zoned out' .. and that is when Kitten noticed ....

Kitten: ... well, I just happened to be glancing over at Twain and I thought I saw him bring this tiny bottle up to his mouth ... and ..

Wren: Exactly ! I caught that too ! Twain quickly tipped the bottle back and swallowed it whole !

Kitten: [nods] ... I think it was , ... and Wren, tell me if I'm wrong on this, .. I think it was 'Parrot Blue' .....

www.amazon.com/Apple-Barrel-PROMOABIII-Acrylic-2-Ounce/dp...

Wren: You are right ... Parrot Blue, Acrylic Paint !! Twain was hooked ... [sighs]

Kitten: Yes. You could see some 'blue' just under his lip .. it was sad. Then he placed his fingers deeper into his pocket and grabbed another bottle.... only this time it was .. um .. ??? .. .

Wren: I think it was Candy-Pink.

I'm almost sure. He really enjoyed switching up flavors.

....and he was listening to that crazy song by Cleopatrick called: Hometown. ... Did you see some of those lyrics Kitten ??

Kitten: [nods and sighs] Yes .. I watched the song on youtube and,, that song is not the Twain I know. He usually listens to Bruno Major ! This song .. with the lyrics right on the screen .. what is that all about ? ...' "life is a bitch with no mouth and no lips"

Wren: [shakes her head sadly] ..I think the streets of New York must have really gotten to him ?

Twain: [Back at his little Studio]

' I dun'no .. I think I first started using the paint after the class on 'Thirds' .. I just didn't get it ?

How am I supposed to crop my photos into Thirds ?!! [pounds his little mesh fist on his studio table]. I can understand cutting a pie or ? .. a watermelon into Thirds. ... but when they talked about it in class .. and showed the photos ... I think that was the tipping point for me. That's when I turned to these little babies as my salvation .. [points to the little flavored bottles of Acrylic Paints].

They really help me get through the day. The 'paints' also helped me get off of Bruno Major music. Ya know ? .. I've expanded into different music .. like this deep stuff .. Hometown by cleopatrick.

Which, btw, is also the background music that is used for this amazing dance troupe that you really all should watch from AGT .. but it's only worth watching if you have your video screen fully filled .. fully open with this .. or it isn't worth watching 1/2 open .. they will blow your mind !!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZdXlU_VChw

So worth watching twice even !

Twain: I'll, ... I'll try to kick the 'paint' and be a better student in class ... I didn't mean to worry Wren or Kitten. They've both been so good to me. Well ... until next time .. see ya !! And be sure to watch that dance troupe with your screen / video fully open ... they are amazing ! Thanks ! šŸ’–

A whole row of carved corbels above this left-over carved lintel from the time when it surmounted a doorway. Leaves and flowers are interspersed with geometrical patterns, which are thought to have been based on motifs in Reading Abbey, long since in ruins. This carved band would presumably already have been around 500 years old during the 1607 rebuilding of the tower, and in a style very unlike the prevailing one in Tudor times, so it's impressive that they decided to incorporate it in the new tower. I'm guessing that although only about 8 'tiles' are lattice work, they probably all were and have either become clogged up by centuries of dirt, or needed backing to prevent their disintegration.

After a whole winter of waiting, the Robins are finally here, one of the prettiest birds out there (in my opinion).

I like a good ā€˜dark alley’ shot. One of our first photography stops of the whole trip was to ā€˜Art Lane’, a small area with walls covered in art. Unfortunately the area was in darkness and partly covered by scaffolding, so there wasn’t a lot to see at night.

It was nice though to sit and start to take the city in. Looking up at the huge buildings and feeling the relative warmth of the evening (an unusual experience for people from England!) was just what I needed.

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ā€˜Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.
