Up to now, I was mostly using aperture priority; I am now beginning to use the fully manual mode....

On the branch line Lüneburg - Dannenberg normally a DMU is operating. But during ascension and whitesundays traditionally many cycler used the few trains on this line. DB changed to locohauled trains using a special cycle car. One of these loco hauled trains with class 218 arrives Göhrde station. The station building is from 1874, when the german Kaiser travelled to Göhrde for hunting in the wide isolated forrests around.
Today erixx is the operator of this line. They use to take a second DMU for the cyclers during these days.

It is the Sunday before Pentecost, known in England as Whutsun, or White Sunday. According to Christians, Pentecost is when the Holy Ghost part of God came down to Earth which is often depicted as a white dove descending through the sky. There are many hundreds of different forms of Christianity/churches associated with Pentecostalism which emphasise a direct personal relationship with God, baptism and speaking in tongues (gibberish), looked on by some as the 'happy-clappy' brigade.

A photo from one of the series I shoot at the very end of my stay in Brisbane. I’ll keep the photo unexplained for now.
Since I left Brisbane, I’ve visited following cities:
Rockhampton - Stayed with a Reece’s family. A friend I met in Brisbane. 10 days with Helicopter flights, uninhabited islands, road trips, creeks, too many mosquitoes, visit to Agnes Water/1770, blues festival and gym sessions at Reece’s job.
Airlibeach/Whitesundays - Met other backpackers for the first time in 5 months. 4 wonderful danes, I spontaneously decided to join on a 4 day long boat/diving trip to the whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef. Scubadiving, night dives, loads of free diving, underwater tunnels, sharks, seasickness, the most beautiful reefs and islands.
Cairns - Been here in cairns for 7days+ now. Continued traveling with the danes. Extreme river rafting, sunbathing and getting ready for the next adventure:
NEW ZEALAND - (in 6 hours).
I've been in Australia for more than 6 months now (or more precisely 190days), and it’s time to move on. I must admit, It feels surreal to write. It doesn't feel like I've been here for more than a couple of months. But on the other hand, it still feels like ages, since i've been home. I've grown much with the project and can't in many ways recognize the person I was before. In New Zealand, I'll be joining a guided buss trip around both islands - where you decided yourself, where you want to hop off. The busses drives around in certain pattern constantly, so it's just about jumping on/off whenever you feel like. A great solution to keep your travel spontaneous, but to still have some structure in your travel. Extremely excited to see new lands and feel some colder environment!
