when you realize something truly remarkable is happening and disappearing right in front of you, if you can pass a camera before your eye, you’ll tear a piece of time out of the whole, and in a breath, rescue it and give it new meaning.

When Tofu was sick he had to stay indoors for weeks but the weather wasn't great at the time anyway. Now it is sunny and he is allowed to go out again and stalk THE BIRDS. Tofu is happy but I'm pretty sure that his feathered friends don't share his enthusiasm.
This little bird has quite a harvest in it's mouth.
Clearly nearby there were some hungry mouths to feed, or perhaps just the one strangely large chick.
Feeding a cuckoo is a mammoth task, that in truth wasn't what this little guy was designed to do. However faced with a larger than expected chick, they give it their best shot.

Things are as ever slowly changing..
My illness that is now being treated with double beta blockers is not yet responding well and some of my ordinary PVCs have changed to interpolated PVCs which can eventually lead to Cardiomyopathy with severe and chronic anxiety being the root cause.
I don’t have control over my anxiety and Flickr is just one thing I can leave off at least. I have had some lovely mails asking me to just take a break then come back and believe me they are so heartwarming and mean more than you will ever know.
The place I am at now is to still leave my account open as it is paid up until April 2024. Comments for new photos are turned off and shall remain off as I am too unwell to leave comments as they take me ages to formulate and I get so tired and stressed.
I intend flooding my Flickr account with photos from my two previous Flickr accounts as I get a better idea of whether I myself consider them worthy of uploading to my new online account with a couple of online accounts instead of mixed with thousands of other photos on my PC

I shall hopefully start to fave but not be commenting on photos on Flickr as I not well enough to at the moment but I haven’t given up on getting better although I am unsure how…
I wish everyone well and am still browsing all your wonderful inspirational photography !

When I reached the spot in the bushes where a few of them had been washed away, I was able to see the sunset. I am not sure how much more of a story there is to this one. If you have your own story that the image tells you I would be curious as to what it is.

When I came upon this Cormorant gazing out over the water at a local lake, I wondered if it was lonely or just liked hanging-out alone. I’ve found there is a difference.
"All by Myself" is a song by American singer-songwriter Eric Carmen. The most notable cover version of the song was recorded by Canadian singer Celine Dion in 1996.

When I first doing this a wise man with a camera in his hand told me ''if you're not careful you end up taking virtually the same pictures year after year''
At the time everything was new., but now we're three years into our photographic adventure those words have a 'ring of truth' about them
Differing events and action bring there own variation of course, but I also think varying your own 'style' and playing with camera settings etc. are important to keep things 'fresh'., whilst also trying to produce sometimes new and unconventional perspectives on old familiar subjects
It's not always easy., the unconventional rarely is., but this Red Kite shot is an attempt to do exactly that
I love to catch this tree in the changing seasons each year. I have a capture from one winter that still ranks as one of my favorites of all time. I find myself going back there from time to time to check in and see how she’s doing. This is from a few weeks ago while it was still officially summer. I had the idea to capture us together. 10 second timer so I could get in the shot.

When I open my photostream (especially the recent photos), I see the main theme "World of animals": squirrels, owl, autumn cats... 🐈🐈😁
That's why I deсided to upload the autumn landscape. This beauty was just a few days ago, now everything has changed: 50 shades of grey and even squirrels turned grey... And temperature drop coming with sleet... I don't like this kind of weather and this period of year. And I'm now in a sleeping mode. 🐻🐻🐻
For cat lovers 🐈🐈
I have some more photos of my "autumn cats" and I'll upload them soon. 😊
Many thanks to everyone for your visit, comments and faves! Much appreciated! 🌻

Have a wonderful Sunday !
Linus was watching the Ginkgo tree here. The leaves are beginning to look less green than they did in summer, autumn is definitely in the air. I think Linus is looking forward to this part auf autumn. He has always enjoyed chasing the falling leaves and it is sometimes difficult to convince him that there is no need to enhance the process.

When I got right to the top of the valley where Haweswater resides, I was greeted by the so named 'Small water.' I spent quite a while sat around this tarn, but once I was up above, I knew for certain that it was well worth the tough, hot trek up.
When I saw this iPhone advertising hoarding at an underground station last summer and then glanced inside the open doors of the train that was just getting ready to depart I thought to myself - "This is just too easy...". That didn't stop me from taking the shot though! 😄
When dawn breaks in my part of the Welsh countryside the lanes are free of traffic, the sun begins to rise lighting up the sky and bird song fills the air. The cries of a Red Kite hovering above a field hoping a mouse will make a mad dash for the safety of a hedgerow. The rustling of grass blowing gently in the breeze, the crispness of the Autumn air, oh what a time to be alive and take in the wonders that surround us!

When my Crabapple tree starts showing its new red leaves in spring, I can't help but be thankful for nature's renewal.
"Spring
The hopeless hope is one ..
of the early harbingers of spring,
bespeaking an innocent belief that the world might right its wrongs and reverse its curses
simply because the trees are coming into leaf."
