'Christmas' was packed away today...the tree has been chopped up ready for recycling...decorations packed away for another year...so with a bunch of tulips to brighten up the room...I now feel ready to face 2017!
Although I'm not looking forward to Monday when our youngest heads off on her next adventures..this time to Australia and New Zealand (via short visits to Thailand and the Philippines to catch up with friends) so...for the next 12-18 months whats app, messenger and skype will be in constant use in our house!!

Am 31.03.2019 war der AKE-Rheingold zu Gast auf der Marschbahn.
Auch für mich ein Grund meinen Hintern von Mittelholstein an die Westküste zu bewegen.
Beim Warten zwischen Burg und St. Michel kam mir 212 267-9 Lz vor die Linse gefahren. "Was macht die hier ?" Lokale Whats App-Gruppen hatten schnell die Antwort parat. Sie war auf dem Weg nach Husum um Wagen zu holen.
Da ich die Leerüberführung des Rheingolds eh noch ablichten wollte, hatte ich die Hoffnung auch diese Fuhre zu erwischen.
Und so war es denn auch, nicht mal 10 Minuten nach der Durchfahrt des AKE-Lr senkten sich die Schranken in Hemmingstedt erneut. Besagte 212 hatte aus Husum je einen Wagen von Flix und BTE am Haken.
193 835 von Boxxpress mit einem langen Schachtelzug am 27. April 2020 bei Dörverden, am Regler ein Bekannter aus der Whats-App-Sichtungsgruppe, der aus dem Führerstand überaus freundlich grüßt.
Bereits am frühen Nachmittag hatten die Whats App-Buschtrommeln den EGP-Holzroller 142 042 mit einem Autozug angekündigt, doch der ließ lange auf sich warten.
Aber dafür betrat er die Bühne in Bremen-Mahndorf dann auch im besten Licht.

Collage of my own photos, alas I haven't been able to figure out what app was using for collaging when I made these - more than a year ago.
...and take those 'garden bird shots'...(in our back garden to the left!) and use my laptop...yes I still use a laptop! and a mouse!! as does my husband who sits diagonally opposite...red wine, plants and candles...a given...( the wine not every night! we do know the rules..a few nights off recommended!) android phone...yes...but only because we needed (or were persuaded to use!) whats app etc to communicate with our daughters...table runner, a gift from our youngest bought on her 6 month travels through Central America...
You may have guessed I'm a bit bored today...so playing with camera effects etc ...and...I've also been wondering about....the clarity of some of my shots...is it me...am I seeing things as 'sharp'... when they're not? Is it my age, my eye sight, my camera...well if it's me...I think i may be heading down the Monet route...eye sight not brill...but Impressionism rules!!
...and perhaps I could start up a challenge to Candy MacAulay/Willa/ Lady Lens... with all my friends, contacts, with all flickr people.... to show where you sit...and create your lovely images! ;^) Ellyn ..you are exempted...:-)

I have no idea what apps I used to make this image, but I wish I could remember. I made this back in 2012, saved it to my laptop and then forgot about it. If anyone recognizes that typing across the middle and the app it came from, please let me know. Whichever app it was it's no longer on my phone; I have this impulsive habit of removing apps for the sake of keeping it clean. Sometimes I end up regretting it. D'oh!

Can't for the life of me figure out what app I was using for these collages. Probably 2D or Procreate, but I don't find any evidence in the galleries of either app on my device.
