Ich hatte die Hoffnung bereits aufgegeben, nach der Meldung in der Whats-App-Gruppe, das die Ex-RBH-Lok 145 008 einen Autozug nach Emden bespannt, ging das Rechnen los.
Würde der Zug noch vor Sonnenuntergang sein Ziel erreichen.
Um 17:45 hatte ich die Hoffnung aufgegeben und war gerade dabei, die Kamera in der Fahrradtasche zu verstauen, als sich die Schranken noch einmal senkten.
2 Minuten später rollte der Zug im allerletzten Licht durch Gandersum.
'Christmas' was packed away today...the tree has been chopped up ready for recycling...decorations packed away for another year...so with a bunch of tulips to brighten up the room...I now feel ready to face 2017!
Although I'm not looking forward to Monday when our youngest heads off on her next adventures..this time to Australia and New Zealand (via short visits to Thailand and the Philippines to catch up with friends) so...for the next 12-18 months whats app, messenger and skype will be in constant use in our house!!

Collage of my own photos, alas I haven't been able to figure out what app was using for collaging when I made these - more than a year ago.
...and take those 'garden bird shots'...(in our back garden to the left!) and use my laptop...yes I still use a laptop! and a mouse!! as does my husband who sits diagonally opposite...red wine, plants and candles...a given...( the wine not every night! we do know the rules..a few nights off recommended!) android phone...yes...but only because we needed (or were persuaded to use!) whats app etc to communicate with our daughters...table runner, a gift from our youngest bought on her 6 month travels through Central America...
You may have guessed I'm a bit bored today...so playing with camera effects etc ...and...I've also been wondering about....the clarity of some of my shots...is it me...am I seeing things as 'sharp'... when they're not? Is it my age, my eye sight, my camera...well if it's me...I think i may be heading down the Monet route...eye sight not brill...but Impressionism rules!!
...and perhaps I could start up a challenge to Candy MacAulay/Willa/ Lady Lens... with all my friends, contacts, with all flickr people.... to show where you sit...and create your lovely images! ;^) Ellyn ..you are exempted...:-)

Wenn die Kritische Infrastruktur ausfällt

Lassahn/gc. Was die sogenannte „Kritische Infrastruktur“ genau ist, weiß man, wenn sie ausfällt.
Dabei geht es nicht nur darum, ob der Pizzalieferant kommt. Die Toilettenspülung funktioniert wegen Wassermangels nicht mehr. Auch Dusche und Wasserhahn bleiben trocken. Kassen, Geldautomaten und Online-Banking – Fehlanzeige. Tanken, Heizen und die Lebensmittelversorgung fallen aus. Internetkommunikation, Smartphone, Festnetztelefone sind tot. Keine E-Mails, kein Whats App, keine SMS, kein Social Media. Vor den Häusern türmt sich der nicht abgeholte Müll. Polizei, Rettungskräfte und Behörden sind dauerhaft überbeansprucht. Krankenhäuser, Arztpraxen und Pflegeheime sind überlastet. Radio, Zeitung, Fernsehen sind nicht mehr permanent verfügbar. Und auch die Wirtschaft kommt zum Stillstand, weil Börsen, Banken und Versicherungen handlungsunfähig sind.
Für die meisten Menschen dürfte dieses Szenario ein Absturz in die Steinzeit sein. Damit genau dieses Schreckensszenario nicht in vollem Umfang wirksam wird, muss die Kritische Infratsruktur besonders geschützt werden. Das geschieht staatlicherseits. Wissenschaftler, Behören sowie staatliche/kommunale Einrichtungen gehen in Vorleistung beim präventiven Schutz von kritischen Gebäuden und Anlagen. Außerdem handelt sie in Konfliktfällen als Vor-Ort-Kräfte zur akuten Sicherung, zur Schadensbegrenzung und zum physischen Schutz Kritischer Infrastruktur. Doch damit ist es bei einer Krisenbewältigung allein nicht getan. Auch die Bevölkerung ist gut beraten, sich auf eine Krise vorzubereiten.
Wer sich auf eine Krisensituation vorbereiten möchte, kann sich an die Empfehlungen des Bundesamtes für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe halten. Die Behörde empfiehlt, Vorräte für circa zehn Tage vorzuhalten, um auf Ausfalllagen vorbereitet zu sein. Zur Vorsorge gehören:
Essen, Trinken, Gesundheit
2 Liter Flüssigkeit pro Person/ Tag
2.200 kcal pro Person und Tag
Haltbarkeit bedenken
Lagerhinweise beachten
Allergien bedenken und
Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten
sowie Sonderbedarfe (z. B. Baby)
Haustierfutter, Einstreu, Medizin nicht vergessen
Medikamente, Verbandsmaterial
Sonderbedarfe (z. B. Inkontinenzmaterial, Verbände, Pflaster)
