Just a quickie to say, WELCOME BACK CONTACTS! It's so good to see you!

Not many aircraft these days boast a stairs to another deck, but this is the Airbus 380, truely a double decker.

This is the less glamorous stairs at the rear of the aircraft, but with some very snazzy lighting, its a real treat heading upwards. The front version is on "another level " entirely.

British Airways have been begun operating their A380's again since grounding during the Covid-19 pandemic, using them on daily trips to Madrid & Frankfurt, a real treat for enthusiasts during November/ December 2021.

Special thanks to Sophie, Marie & Philip, BA cabin crew for taking great care of me that day, what an experience.

Great to see the A380 back again #WelcomeBack

sorrisi e pianti, fiducia data e tradita. silenzi assordanti.

so glad this dude is back

Making a meal of it onboard a British Aiways Airbus A380 from London to Madrid, the business class meal with "bangers and mash " all washed down with some Nicolas Feuillatte champagne ( for the day that was in it ).

What a find...I travel so many miles and little time, most my shots are "shoot and ride"...so getting my photos framed, and proper settiings, etc. is not norm...but this one I like!

This is something very special, all alone in the upper deck of the world traveller class cabin of a British Airways A380, cruising along at 39,000 feet on the way to Madrid, with the cabin all to myself.

This is the upper deck of the BA 380, the 2nd deck from the back in World Traveller configuration.

We live in strange & frightening times, but there's always opportunities to do things a little differently.

Special thanks to Sophie & Marie ,BA cabin crew for taking great care of me that day, a full tour of the upper deck cabin enroute to Madrid, what an experience.

We've just landed in the kitchen, one of the upper deck galley's of the British Airways A380, where the magic happens, keeping everyone fed & watered.

The Crew Dragon capsule carrying ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer and NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron home from the International Space Station splashed down off the coast of Florida, USA, on Friday 6 May 2022 at 05:43 BST/06:43 CEST.

Its return marks the end of Crew-3’s almost six-month stay in orbit and the end of Matthias’s first mission, known as Cosmic Kiss.

Crew-3 undocked from the International Space Station in Crew Dragon spacecraft Endurance at 06:20 BST/07:20 CEST Thursday 5 May.

When a Crew capsule splashes down, it is met by nearby ships with experts ready to bring it on board, open the hatch, and welcome the astronauts home. After initial medical checks, the crew is transported by helicopter to shore.

Now that his mission has come to an end, Matthias will return to ESA’s European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, where he will participate in post-flight debriefings, provide samples for scientific evaluation and readapt to Earth’s gravity with the support of ESA experts.

Sole's friend, the orange kitty, is back. He lives quite close to us but we don't see much of him anymore. Now that he's discovered we have a goldfish pond (small as it is) he came first for a drink and then a visit, through the screen door, with Sole.

The "cruiseliner ship " staircase, but the only cruising around here in usually at 40,000 feet in the air.

This grand staircase is located at the front of the A380, while a much smaller & less decadent spiral staircase is situated at the rear of the superjumbo.

There were plans to do away with this grand design to a more conventional stairs & create about 20 more seats in future plans, but as stairs go, this really is step this way.

While in Victorian times, the yellow rose symbolized jealousy, today it represents friendship, joy and caring. A bouquet of these sun-filled blossoms conveys warmth, gladness and affection.

School is already starting here!

It's been a while since I uploaded anything to flickr. It's a little soft but it made me smile.

Watch any travel blogger on YouTube & there's a loo review as part of their plane report, so here we are, in the first class loo on the upper deck of a British Airways A380m bursting with moisturizer & not your average bar of soap.

This loo is extra special as it extra large, a shower was an optional extra but not fitted to the BA spec, unlike the Emirates & Etihad layout, so there's more space in here to try out all those lotions.

Special thanks to Sophie & Marie ,BA cabin crew for taking great care of me that day, a full tour of the upper deck cabin enroute to Madrid, what an experience.

Lothian Buses Eclipse One 115 (SN04 NHF) ’Fred’ is seen here on Mayfield Road on service 42 to King’s Road (Marine Depot) on Friday the 1st of November 2019.

Lothian Buses Wrightbus Eclipse Urban One bodied Volvo B7RLE single decker number 115 (SN04 NHF) ‘Fred’ here was new to Lothian over fifteen years ago in harlequin for service 22 along with the rest of 101-130 and then 131-135. Eclipse 115 ‘Fred’ stayed in regular service until July 2017 when it was temporarily withdrawn and became a spare parts donor bus for over two years.

Most people thought it was off to get scrapped when it disappeared from the yard at Seafield works, but it was in fact getting a makeover. On this Tuesday, Tuesday the 29th of October 2019, Eclipse Urban One 115 ‘Fred’ here reappeared on service 12, now painted in plain white adding to the number of albino buses in the fleet and with orange LED screens replacing its original Hanover three-track roller blinds.

It was a very nice and unexpected surprise to see 115 ‘Fred’s fleet number showing on the tracker for service 42, and I am glad to see this rather old beast back in the fleet, even if it is a rather dirty old Euro 3 bus at over 15 years old, making it over a year older than the oldest decker in the main fleet.

Welcome back, Eclipse 115 ‘Fred’!

Students enjoy a welcome back Barbecue at the Fall semester Orientation on Wilf Campus.

The gate located on the upper deck of the British Airways A380 leading down the spiral staircase into the main deck at the rear of the aircraft. It will never be as elegant as the "grand staircase " at the front of the aircraft but nevertheless, there's not many passenger aircraft that can boast a stairs between decks.

www.mymovies.it/poster/?id=9174

E' assolutamente pazzesco. l'ombrello è identico!!!

When I have thought these releases I have thought them on her. on her sensibility. and she has come me to mind so, with the feet in the water and with in hand an umbrella. Then today a dear friend, Michele Rossi, has told that I have made him this film to come to mind

www.mymovies.it/poster/?id=9174

This is absolutely maddish. the umbrella is identical!!!
