Godwit/grutto, die gelukkig uit de plas( die veel te ver weg was)opvloog om op zijn gemak in het weiland te struinen. Dat was mijn geluk en ondanks de bewolking en het slechte licht kon ik er ook nog plaatjes van schieten.

Welcome back

Your dreams were your ticket out

Welcome back

To that same old place that you laughed about...

Desert Shores is one of several small towns located on the western shores of the Salton Sea. It had its beginnings back in the late 1950's as a resort community. Two tropical storms in 1976 and 1977 poured so much rain into the sea, that it overflowed into all the towns along its shores, wreaking havoc and destruction...then in the early 2000's, the Imperial Irrigation District — a major player bringing Colorado River water to the desert — signed a water transfer deal, diverting the water and resulting in the water level receding by 20'...it spelled disaster for the town...

I know that we are young.

And I know you may love me.

But I just can't be with you like this anymore.

Alejandro.

She's got both hands

in her pocket.

And she won't look at you,

Won't look at you

She hides true love

En su bolsillo.

She's got a halo 'round her finger.

Around you.

You know that I love you boy.

Hot like Mexico, rejoice.

At this point I gotta choose,

nothing to loose.

Well i should apologise for being away for so long again, things are busy at home and at work and it's getting hard to juggle everything around, however i managed to grab some spare time today to get things done. Still have a lot to do but in the process of getting things sorted my brain has veered off in several occasions and given me some good ideas which i hope to get done soon.

This shot was just a quick idea i had whilst walking home this morning, i spotted the leaves and thought i had to do something. And the added layer was inspired by the ghost in my room, last night it was pulling on my duvet again, very annoying!

Catch up with you soon. :)

Welcoming us back to the United States from beautiful British Columbia.

"Welcome Back" So the last outdoor photo session out in the woods I had an Owl keeping me company.....this time it was two coyotes. I would estimate the distant one to be about 1/4 mile off in the distance, and the close one was probably less than 50 yards away.....its howls were quite loud and i could definitely feel its presence....I'm sure it could sense mine as well....the night is such a cool time of day....your senses are very alert, you are aware but unaware as well.....its probably why night and light painting photography appeals to me. So where do I begin to explain this photo.....hmmmmm......maybe I just won't explain it at all. All i can say is it took quite an effort to get what I envisioned right.

Hello, it's been an incredibly long time. Our delightful baby boy Hugo is now 3 months old and we have just rediscovered 10 minutes of our time. We have not been taking photos lately other than of him so we thought we'd post some we had of our holiday last year,

Thanks so much to all those who have dropped us lines and well wishes and have continued to not forget us.

We have missed the inspiration of flickr and hope to get back into it more in the coming months.

Speak and see all of your amazing work soon :)

I do hope all are well. As busy as I have been I couldn't bear not having a picture of this. Rog does love the snow. I have shot hundreds of these and they are so hard to get. The auto focus has a really hard time keeping up with him.

So 2014 will go down in my history books as the year I moved full circle on a few things. Most notably, I am now back to using a digital camera as my primary tool. Yes... Digital. I have my reasons.

Happy holidays to you all.

The Crew Dragon capsule carrying ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer and NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron home from the International Space Station splashed down off the coast of Florida, USA, on Friday 6 May 2022 at 05:43 BST/06:43 CEST.

Its return marks the end of Crew-3’s almost six-month stay in orbit and the end of Matthias’s first mission, known as Cosmic Kiss.

Crew-3 undocked from the International Space Station in Crew Dragon spacecraft Endurance at 06:20 BST/07:20 CEST Thursday 5 May.

When a Crew capsule splashes down, it is met by nearby ships with experts ready to bring it on board, open the hatch, and welcome the astronauts home. After initial medical checks, the crew is transported by helicopter to shore.

Now that his mission has come to an end, Matthias will return to ESA’s European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, where he will participate in post-flight debriefings, provide samples for scientific evaluation and readapt to Earth’s gravity with the support of ESA experts.

British Airways have been begun operating their A380's again since grounding during the Covid-19 pandemic, using them on daily trips to Madrid & Frankfurt, a real treat for enthusiasts during November/ December 2021.

Special thanks to Sophie, Marie & Philip, BA cabin crew for taking great care of me that day, what an experience.

Great to see the BA A380 back again #WelcomeBack

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many bars & restaurants have been required by law to limit their capacity or utilize outdoor space if social distancing is not achievable inside. In spring of 2020, under Governor Tony Evers’ "Safer at Home" order, bars were required to shut down from the end of March through May. These photos document this chapter in Madison’s history. Many establishments have withstood the trial, but for others this was last call.

Hi! THANK YOU ALL for your kind comments, favs, awards and invites.

I was taking a rest for a long time.... At last a plan of the work was over and came back to here now. I'll miss you all!

I want to visit to you, but take time a little.

Please wait a little more :-))

Big kiss & Big hug!!!!!

Each year in late autumn, the trumpeter swans return to the flooded farm field. I was so happy to see them return again...especially weeks earlier than last year!

Trumpeter swans (Cygnus buccinator) are large migratory birds, considered the largest native North American bird and the largest species of waterfowl on earth. They breed and feed in Alaska during the summer months, moving south to Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley for the winter, feeding in freshwater and estuarine wetlands and flooded farm fields along the coast.
