The days are getting shorter, but autumn sends its delights our way.
Hope your weekend was as blessed with sun as ours!
Another of my favorites from a weekend escape to the mountains. The snow from the previous photo melted overnight, but it was still a beautiful landscape.
It was Labor Day weekend, I was 17
I bought a Coke and some gasoline
And I drove out to the county fair

Due to work on the Green Line Extension project along the MBTA Lowell Line, Amtrak Downeaster Trains were rerouted via Reading to get into Boston. Amtrak 50th Anniversary unit #100 leads train 690 past the the former B&M Depot (built 1870). Photo taken Reading, MA March 27, 2022

the past few days have been a bit hectic! a friend who i have not seen for 18 years came home for a 2-day visit we had the whole weekend catching up! wow! it's amazing how time flies! he was a classmate in medical school and now works as an oncologist in san francisco. amazing how we have not changed and how much we have changed! aaah the paradox of time!
sorry for not visiting lately my friends! i hope to catch up soon! good day/night everyone!

Actually started this for Sliders Sunday but works just as well for the B in in HBM - especially with The big Bike rally in Sturgis, SD on this week.
This is a local weekend cruise found when I pulled into one of many small towns around Iowa. The weekend bikers target various towns and routes and actually good for business - as they load up on food and ice cream and other items along the way.

P097-19 is crossing McGirt's Creek on Aug 20, 2016 with the Heritage 145 on the point. Having the drone makes this much easier and legal to get this photo. A photo from the parallel street bridge has to be taken on an active roadway with no sidewalk or pullover lane, leaving only about 4' of space between the wall, you, and cars going 45 mph. Finally, we've finished getting the house ready for sale and today was the first open day. It's the first day we've had off for about a month. We went up to the Atherton Tablelands to visit the sister-in-law and it's the first chance I've had to take a proper photo for ages.
