Students enjoyed a little down time with their parents during Family Weekend Sept. 23-25. They enjoyed the annual concert in Colton Chapel, the Legacy Dinner, a picnic on the Quad, and the football game against Villanova at Fisher Stadium. Families were also able to meet with President Alison Byerly during her Family Weekend address and reception.

ducks i spotted this past weekend in backwater ponds in pike county, ohio....yes - i had a great weekend!
1, 3, 5 - mallards and malard hybrids
2, 4, 8, 9 - bufflehead - small diving ducks
6,7 - canvasback
This was a weekend away with Mike, Shannon, Mark, Jen, Matt, Tofu, Amy, Neil and all the kids. We rented a cabin in Wrightwood. There was no snow which stunk. The weekend started OK until the uninvited guest, the Noro virus showed up. Wil, Reagan, Aus and lexa spent the entire night sick. Most of the grown ups got sick after. Shannon and Matt spent some time off work the next week dealing with it. So we affectionately called this puke weekend. Merry Christmas.
i actually managed to make a "weekend project" take all weekend instead of staying up until 3am friday night finishing whatever the weekend project of choice is. this weekend it was a reversible apron from jotta landsdotter's fantastic sewing book.
the pocket wasn't part of the pattern, but seemed like a necessity, really.
sunny blue skies, a pair of scooters, and two daring girls. i need to learn that type of no fear again.
The few days away with friends spent on the central coast was a much needed break.
Much fun was had, much debauchery committed and many livers are now paying the price for decadence.
Sabato e Domenica nel segno del calcio dilettantistico giovanile e dello scambio culturale tra Italia e Francia.....L'anno scorso ha partecipato al torneo di calcio giovanile,Pulcini '99,di Pasqua ad Ovada,la squadra francese dell'Aniane,paese situato a qualche chilometro da Montpellier....quest'anno per ricambiare,i francesi ci hanno invitato per andare a giocare da loro un torneo con 16 squadre.......Come si dice.....è stato un Primo Maggio fuori porta!!!!!
