We spent a great weekend with my mom and dad in Humboldt. We spent some of this time paying tribute to our lost veterans. My dad served as a military policeman in the Greek army and has been a long-standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Well...not quite weekend, but it didn't take too long. The $5 chair with about $20 in additional supplies turned out to be this awesome looking and very comfortable chair. Dan has spent many nights thus far reading Haruki Murakami and sipping coffee.

US cars meeting

I spent the whole weekend with my mom. And this morning, I got us some Posh Bagels and couple cups of Cafe Mochas and we walked to the Rose Garden for breakfast. We sat among blooming roses, breathing in their sweet fragrance in the air. I spent about 5 minutes taking a few photos and after breakfast we headed down to Gilroy for the Garlic Festival. It was a wonderful weekend with my mom whom I haven't seen since March! :)

Took along the new TLR and my Pentax 67. The Yashica 124 has some seeeerious flaring issues when the taking lens is even in proximity to the sun. Definitely going to need a lens hood if it's going to become a regular user
