Feel free to leave feedback and criticism!

Did this photoshoot yesterday for Weekend Offender. First time I've done an actual shoot, so any feedback is very much appreciated, especially on the lighting which I've not really used before.

In camera flash used to trigger remote flash (Nikon SB600) in Ffion's hand over the fence to illuminate the washing line in the background.

Taken in The Vulcan pub in Cardiff.

Okay this weekend I decided to go all gung-ho and dedicated myself time to actually work on projects I’ve procrastinated on for so long. I got a decent amount done, but that left me with essentially no energy to really talk about each of these so yeah.

I rerooted Jasper with blue hair and boiled it to lay flat but I’m debating on repainting his eyebrows to match the hair.

Emmett has been on a WWE body for a long while and I hated the hands so I finally lopped them off and put in new action figure hands to fit. I also painted it to match and dremeled the wrists to look a bit thinner.

I replaced Hadley’s arm and put a Hong Kong doll head on it.

Kira was a trade from @dollsahoy about 5-6 years ago which I promptly ignored cuz nothing suited her unique face. I decided to pair up some spare heads with spare bodies and I ended up loving this combination with Kira on a Curvy body. I also boiled her hair and shaped it to be more sleek. I might repaint her cuz I hate her blue eyes but whatevs.

And finally, after weeks of procrastination and finding a new head I finished my 17 inch Frankie shorten mod and have a vintage green curvy girl.

I’m honestly pooped but yeah.

Looking beyond tired, 66068 sits on Llanwern’s Down Service Line shut down for the weekend after working a Saturday 1825 6H29 Margam - Llanwern inter-works service.

I picked this ring last weekend :)

A wee photo from last night's shoot with the new Glasgow band, Weekend Wars. Thought that we'd try something a little different to the average "four lads looking cool." Took a bit of work and more than a little improvisation, but it came out looking pretty good I reckon! The water was about knee deep where they were standing. Just a quick-and-dirty edit for now….

Two flashes: one CTO gelled to camera right, one back left (thanks for wading in so deep for that Robbie!), both triggered with PWs, no mods.

Lovely weekend with friends in this crazy and beautifully situated house. Good company, food, weather

Just back from a great weekend. Started on Friday and finished this morning after breakfast. The weather was dry bright and cold but we were able to get out and about and also enjoy the entertainment put on by the organisers. It was just great meeting up again with friends, going shopping, visiting places and just generally meeting other girls and chatting.

I arrived on Thursday but did not dress until Friday morning. The photos above were taken before Breakfast. As I said it was a cold morning but after breakfast sat around chatting and relaxing reading the papers. Karen & Claire and their wives were arriving at lunchtime and then we would decide what to do for the afternoon. More about that later.

So I biffed it while playing basketball with Jona. We both went for the ball, I got bumped and down I went. But that wasn't going to ruin the weekend we had planned. Poolside in Park City, horseback riding, sitting by the fire. This was a little getaway for Emma's birthday weekend. It was great. We all had a grand time.

Enjoyed my last day of the family day long weekend today. Kath was away visiting friends in NYC so I had the entire weekend to myself in Toronto. Even had the chance to pick up some old cameras that I've forsaken since going compact. I've had no regrets going compact but I still haven't found a lens i love as much as Canon's FF 35L. Easily my favourite 35mm lens of all time. Admittedly I haven't shot with a Leica Summilux yet. One day maybe, in a future long weekend where I find manual focusing fun.

I've heard good things about the new Olympus 17mm f1.8 but think I might wait for the Fujinon 23mm 1.4 f1.4 to be finally released. Until then I have my trustly 35L, I just wish it was smaller.

This weekend saw some amazing cloud formations all throughout california. This was the best I could manage despite mother nature giving me everything to work with, I either forgot my batteries, or got kicked out of a spot from getting some shots that I really wanted. Well this upcoming weekend calls for partly cloudy skies, so I'm hoping for good things!

Last weekend I attended the annual Cass Railfan Weekend hosted by the Mountain State Railroad & Logging Historical Association. This shot was from the first photography event, the night session at the C&O water tank.

While the Cass Scenic Railroad controls all of the track now, originally the tracks on the far side of the water tank were operated by the C&O and the logging mainline started at the tank where Shay #11 is sitting. If you look closely, you can see the ruins of the lumber drying kilns from the old lumber mill behind Western Maryland Shay #6.

In the mid 90's I focused mainly on photographing models with my film camera. I had seen french photographer Veronique Vial's images in "Women Before 10am" and "Men Before 10am too" and loved the style. Seemingly non-posed candids of men and women in their own homes as they were when they awoke. I chose to follow that style and shoot my own images. To this day, this is still my favorite style of image to not only shoot but view. Many of my Flickr favorites reflect this. I plan to start posting one of those past images every weekend. I hope you enjoy them!
