Weekend Creative project, using what you've got left over to make a mini album.

Another shot from my visit last weekend to the Spa Valley Railway.
Hunslet built austerity loco 2890, dating back to 1943, prepares to depart Eridge with the 15.25 to Tunbridge Wells West.
The mixed rake of four coaches includes a green liveried MkII BSO, followed by a GW liveried Mk I buffet vehicle and a green liveried MkI TSO. The leading TSO sports BR blue & grey livery on this side, but Southern malachite green on the other. I'm guessing this vehicle in in the course of being fully painted into green livery. Just visible at the rear of the train is BR blue liveried 31 430 'Sister Dora', which had worked in the previous working from Tunbridge Wells West. By this stage the type 2 diesel had uncoupled and would run into the bay platform after departure of the 15.25 service.
I wish you
- and also Dorka - a nice weekend.
(I've unfortunately to work).

I'm off for the weekend. Back to Ohio. Probably won't be able to get any outdoor pics as I will be busy most of the time, but I thought I would leave you with one of my pond shots. It was really hard to get in this area and get a good shot without the stuff on the side and I didn't want to crop too much because it would have taken away from the beautiful trees and the reflections.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a magnfiicent weekend and I'll catch up when I get home. Take care everyone. Hugs!!!!

Metrolink weekend train service number 660 heads south toward Oceanside as it passes through Orange, California. A very clean looking F59PH leads the train.
some fun...put a beak on a collaged piece of paper and play...very meditative and done in less than a minute each
Wrapped in a blanket, doing nothing until Monday.

Wonderful relaxing hours in nature - power for being me. Today is 30th anniversary of german reunion. I wish I could be again so young. But time is running so quick.

What to do over a long snowy weekend??
Get the scrapbook stuff out and make a calendar with Moo Cards!
Running to the exit at my work, because it is weekend, and I am late already.
This picture is also a milestone for me, reaching two years of continuous contributions to ODC, without missing any challenge. Sometimes, I skipped a day but catched up later, or combined a few challenges in one photo. And it was fun, a lot of fun. I have learned so much about photography, about handling the camera, about composing a shot, about post-processing; and about English :-)
But most important of all, I got to know so many nice people with the same interest in photography through this group. I like to thank you all for your interest in my work, the great supportive comments, your personal mails, your favourites and of course all your own beautiful pictures to enjoy.
I will stay an active member of ODC but probably will skip a challenge once and a while. Thanks again, and have a nice weekend!
