BERICHT ... von Heiko Wruck

Hamburg/gc.

V. insgesamt 18 politische Forderungen.

From a couple of weeks ago, I'm trying to catch up.

This is just a simple photo.

It was just a simple week.

The base exposure for this image can be found here. In addition to the HDR work, the image has been extensively manipulated in CS5 to address the keystoning and to remove a substantial amount of street architecture, namely the telephone wires and street lamp and a roof aerial, and the two cars in front of the garage.

A detailed review of my processing of this image can be found here.

Hewo 52 weeks friends. Spiggs here... I apologize for my mommy not uploading a photo until this afternoon... but she has been very busy trying to secure a new home for us starting March 1st. She is also very sad today... I'm not sure why, but her eyes were quite swollen this morning, I gave her a big hug just in case she needed it...my mom Baccha was keeping her company in the house- Shes a much better snuggler than me! This photo was from yesterday after I did bite work getting ready for my Schutzhund, IPO 2 competition. I am resting by the car with my "passifier", also known as a sleeve. I love this thing alot. alot. alot. I also like fighting with our decoy- Michael. We have been learning alot these past months and my mommy seems to be pleased... which makes me feel like a team! YAH! So my face here... while I dont look excited, I am concentrating really hard on keeping my full bite on my Wubba.... because I know my momma is about to "OUT" me and put me back in my crate. I must enjoy while I can! See you next week!

"Momma" here: I apologize folks for being so absent this week, as mentioned before, I just signed a lease on a 5.5 acre horse farm and little house which I have been coordinating all week and has taken a lot of time in-between jobs and training. That said, I will be moving out as of March 1st... and I had to break the news to my 4.5 year boyfriend last night... needless to say. It has been a hard day. <-- hence my crossroads photo earlier I will catch up on comments tonight and this week, promise.

Technically... this photo is not all that great. But as Spiggs mentioned above.. his facial expression is just as he said. He's very serious when we get back to the car because he knows I will let him be for a min, then I have to out him and put him away = not his favorite. This photo does show his full bite on the sleeve that he is very good at and you can sorta see him grinning beneath the seriousness. I have great plans for this Valentines week... hint: tramp and spaghetti

Mosaic of images I submitted to the Color week group.

Gold was the color chosen for Sunday; as you can see, I got a little carried away.

It was fun being on assignment!

Home is..... where traditions are born and memories are made. My favorite Easter tradition has always been dying eggs! I'm so happy to start making these memories with my kids, and that they will hopefully love it as much as I do! ♥

SOOC.

just came across these hehe :) this is what happens when you ask a cheeky monkey to smile :)

This week's challenge was a perfect opportunity to shoot a birthday portrait of my oldest son. So proud of the man he has become. #dogwood52 #dogwoodweek4

I was inspired by Batik artist Shasha Shaikh www.shasha-shaikh.com but I used acrylics! I also tried midway to put my canvas vertically to try the drip effects Lisa mentionned. The big plus of this class is that (unlike in school) I am trying to focus on the learning instead of the result (no grades yeah!). All very liberating!

July 15th-19th, 2013

Another light painting shot I did for the Night Photography theme at 52 in 2015. This is a moonflower. They only bloom at night. When I was out last night around 7:30 taking this, there were only four blossoms open on the vine on the fence. By morning there were 25 beauties open. We love these flowers.

My alternate shot for the week.

8 second exposure and lit with a little flashlight I picked up at the hardware store.

It's been raining all week, I had to rush outside to take this while I had the chance.
