This week's is actually on time - and SOOC [ i.e. lazy] ! :D
I don't like this photo, there's nothing interesting about it. It saddens me that all these ideas in my head can't get translated on my camera :-(
I have some great ideas for next week - so yay :D
Our five week-old Eastern Bluebirds are growing fast! Still don't have their eyes open, but getting pin feathers and taking on a blue hue. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
Finding grace in a week that has been both emotional and stressful.
Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the US. :)
Shine your mighty rays upon me.
N.B:-The sunrays are really original. No photoshop! Hats off to my camera B-)
I have only done a crop and adjustments on contrast, exposure, curves etc. in photoshop.
My last upload was not that satisfactory as the previous ones. Hope that this pic will compromise that. :)
My Camera celebrated its first birthday yesterday. Hureeeyyy!!! :D
As the camera's birthday pic, I tried taking a shot of the camera mounted on the tripod with my mobile camera. But the result was not at all good. :(
Suddenly I thought of going out and make use of the morning light. Happy that it came out quite well as I expected.
I was not able to visit your stream for the past one week. Sorry guys. I was really stuck up with exams. Will do it during this week. :)
This week's theme suits me perfectly except the weather is cloudy and yucky. Not much luck finding my eagle friends with all the open water, but I did find these two along the Wisconsin River in Sauk.
Something old - Something new.
Got a new SD card for xmas , it can hold thousands and the other 35mm film 24 or 25 if your lucky.. Like many people thousand of photos were taken on 35 mm film and it and I always eagerly awaited to see them once printed off..
Sign of the times ...
good times, they’re out there
I spent 5 days of this week in London, on a field excursion.
I had an amazing time and lots of fun, although there have been hard moments, too.
But, I loved London and I so wanna go back there!
this picture and its title have been inspired by an advertisement of budweiser, it was everywhere and I actually wanted to steal one to hang it up on my wall. :D I’ll post a picture of it in the comments.
I took the picture in our hotel room (on my bed), we stayed near Baker Street. the light is horrible because the only time I got the chance to take pictures was in the middle of the night when I came back from a pub and my roommates have still been out, as I prefer taking pictures of myself when I’m alone. I actually drank alcohol, too, and I had a headache, so under these circumstances I’m quite satisfied with how it turned out. :)
there are pictures of me and my friends and two others in the comments, too.
p.s. I'm ill at the moment. :(
[september 28 – october 4, 2009]
Rain down on me.

My AP test went pretty well. Now I have four projects in my classes so that should be good fun. Whatever. Only a month left.
I read a lot of good books this week, including the entire Mysterious Benedict Society Trilogy. Now I'm making my way through the additional book about Mr. Benedict. It's pretty good, but I miss the protagonists from the trilogy a lot.
Well, that's pretty much it! Have a good week!
fragile offerings
2013 is going to be a big year for me. lots of changes. good, bad, exciting and scary. this time a year ago i tried a 52 week project and gave up, well this time that's not happening. i want to capture my journey and become hopefully a better photographer through a 52 week project.
read more about my upcoming journey here: www.showmephotographs.blogspot.com
So the first week of Shiptember is over. I'm getting a good feel for the overall form and I'll start on the structure once I finalize each section. I'm having a hard time choosing a colour scheme so for now I'll be working in white.
Also this is actually only around 20% of the progress I've made but the other 80% is mechanical detail that I likely won't use here. If there's interest I'll upload my favourites as their own thing but save the rest for future projects.
tomorrow is vacation time...!!!!! i have my last test and then vacation, in one week i'll go to Rome
i really have to study hehehe....

National Moth Week celebrates the beauty, life cycles, and habitats of moths. “Moth-ers” of all ages and abilities are encouraged to learn about, observe, and document moths in their backyards, parks, and neighborhoods.
So after a very long absence from flickr I am back... I've decided to start again with my account but I'm hoping a few familiar faces will still be around!
This is my first week entry for a 52 week project
We had stopped at visitor center at Badlands Park, as I was walking out, I saw this rock formation, gathering clouds, and there is no shortage of trailers, RVs out there.. within seconds there was this truck coming, I pulled out my phone and made this picture.

The Big Bad Wolf.
Week Three of Fifty Two
Life is a fairytale. Because just when you've rebuilt it, there's always someone there to blow your house down.
So today I went down to the gas station and got some smoke bombs for this picture! and got a new lens! I'll still upload on friday,
I MADE IT. Wow. I can't believe it's been a year. On July 1, 2013 I thought that a 52 weeks project would be a cool way to motivate myself to shoot and upload more often. I learned that I am awful at uploading on time, but ,my commitment never wavered and I have grown so much. This project has helped to turn photography from my hobby into my passion.
A six pack of Coke we purchased during the 100 Year Celebration of Ford back in 2003.
For the group 52 in 2014.
Gemma.
Made some photograms in the dark room this week may scan and upload one of them.
5th February - 11th February 2011
So the theme this week has to be PRIME.
You can interpret this how you like –
Use a prime lens
Go for primary colours
Stand in a prime position
Photograph the Prime Minister!
Let your imagination be your primary source of inspiration to find the prime target for your shot.
So I am using a 50mm prime lens for this water lily.
