On my way down to my physio I saw a head down a manhole. Took a photo, but most of his head was hidden by the tool (to the left of him).
When I got nearer, I asked the feet (to the right), if I could take another one, and as him in the hole was totally unaware of what was going on, the feet agreed. The feet liked it. 😄
Thank you to the men from "Orange" for their help in finding my Wacky Wednesday" photo. 😂

Going cuckoo in the umbellifer field.
Who knew what blondes know?
It was a typical night of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire:
Jeremy: “Barbara, you’ve done very well so far – £500,000 pounds and one lifeline left — phone a friend.”
“The next question will give you the top prize of £1 million pounds,
if you get it right. But if you get it wrong, you will drop back to £32,000. Are you ready?”
Barbara: “Sure, I’ll have a go!”
Jeremy: “Which of the following birds does not build its own nest?
Is it:
A – Robin
B – Sparrow
C – Cuckoo
D – Thrush
Remember Barbara – its worth £1 million pounds.”
“I think I know who it… I’m not 100%… no, I haven’t got a clue. I’d like to phone a friend Mr Clarkson, just to be sure.”
Jeremy “Yes. Who, Barbara, do you want to phone?”
Barbara: “I’ll phone my friend Maggie back home in Birmingham.”
(ringing)
Maggie: “Hello…”
Jeremy: “Hello Maggie, it's Jeremy Clarkson here from Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I have Barbara here and she is doing really well on £ 500,000, but needs your help to get to a Million. The next voice you hear will be Barbara’s and she’ll read you the question. There are 4 possible answers and only 1 correct answer. You have 30 seconds to reply — fire away Barbara.”
Barbara: “Maggie, which of the following birds does not build its own nest?
Is it:
A- Robin
B- Sparrow
C- Cuckoo
D- Thrush
Maggie: “Oh gees, Barbara that’s simple…It’s a cuckoo.”
Barbara: “You think?”
Maggie: “I’m sure.”
Barbara: “Thanks Maggie.” (hangs up)
Jeremy: “Well, do you want to stick on $500,000 or play on for the Million, Barbara?”
Barbara: “I want to play, I’ll go with c-cuckoo”
Jeremy: “Is that your final answer?”
Barbara: “It is.”
Jeremy: “Are you confident?”
Barbara: “Yes fairly, Maggie’s a sound bet.”
Jeremy: “Barbara…..you had £ 500,000 and you said C- c -cuckoo. (pause.....more pause....)
You're right!!! You've just won one million pounds. Here is your cheque. You have been a great contestant and a real gambler. Audience please put your hands together for Barbara!”
That night Barbara called round to Maggie and brought her down to a local bar for a celebratory drink and, as they were sipping their prosecco, Barbara turned to Maggie and asked: “Tell me Maggie, How in God’s name did you know that it was the cuckoo that does not build its own nest?”
Maggie: “Listen, if you need a reminder, everybody knows that a cuckoo lives in a clock!”

The Teddy B bears and others decided that they wanted to go to the seaside, but not down at our beach. They wanted to go to an island by boat. So off they went, everyone was really happy, other than poor Sam, who said he was getting a wet bottom from sitting in the water.
They also want to say a very big thank you to everyone who's sent their best wishes for G, who is coming home tomorrow. 😃
Also, to let you know that Mum took Rufus to see Auntie Vet this afternoon and because he's been rubbing his eyes, he's had to have an antibiotic shot to clear a slight infection up and has pillies to take too. Apparently, he didn't flinch when given his shot, but Auntie Vet also cut his toenails and he didn't like that one bit, he did an accidental poo on her lovely clean floor - oups. 😲
*** Sorry, going to bed, I'm falling asleep. Will catch up once things have settled down tomorrow evening ... hopefully. 😴 ***

The sky was overcast all day until towards the end of the day when the setting sun burned through the layers and ill defined clouds formed in the western horizon
Doing a random act of kindness recently, I had the occasion to go down the side of this neighbor's house (which is a few house down from me). Built the same year as mine ... 1925 ... I had the opportunity to see his side windows, the same as mine, same trim, same doo-dad hardware on the upper trim piece. I always wondered and pretty much thought it was hardware to hang a screen from. You see, 100 years ago they didn't have screens in their windows in these Florida cracker houses in The Packing District. And lo and behold, he's got the original screens, hung up and everything. Bless his heart he's having hard times, but he made my day and didn't even know it.
I want to have screens made again for my windows for the historic aesthetics (although I have new PGT WinGuard hurricane windows installed in mine). I just wonder where I'll ever find the hardware that goes on the screen part.
Anyway, interesting for me and I hope for you. Happy Window Wednesday.
PS October 2025 ... I sure do miss Happy Window Wednesdays and miss you all.
A gorgeous bay window, which has a lovely balcony above it.

This is the shot I took for last week and couldn't find it. This new apartment building across from the AdventHealth Cancer Institute is finally all finished, all decorated and landscaped. It's really beautiful.
Happy WIndow Wednesday, ya'll, and may God bless you for your visit and comment.
