OK, so it's wacky enough to photo a pair of broken plastic glasses on the pavement, but it's even worse when you start adding eyes!
Which sadly aren't quite the same, as my editing program isn't up to that. So I did the best I could.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :)
Rode to one of my favorite parks. The paths are plowed so makes things a little easier to ride through when I cam across this. I just thought it was pretty, with sparkling snow. Not great execution but still like it. Happy Friday (;-D

Hair by No Match
This is for my Bokeh Wednesday Too group this week - taken last week when the snow and rain did a mix up - my car windscreen. Have often seen the ferns but there must have been some big hail to create the circles! Never seen the like before.

For some time the Pied Currawongs have eluded me. On Saturday as we had a coffee at Aireys Inlet this one landed on a nearby fence post.

Window Wednesday
In the calm-
The trees stand, transformed into yellow slips
before the overskirt of green is laid on.
I can't think of a softer view
then the one Spring gives to me tonight
even though more verdant days
lie just over the end of Mays calendar.
Summer sun and blowsy color await.
But this soft night, quiet, brushed on, tapped,
waits for whispered prayers, for loving thoughts
until the stars mingle with the trees
in their yellow slips.-
