Wedding was great and lots of good pictures and lots of chance to learn.
ps1. just curiosity: how do I say this kind of shoes? High hills?
ps2. next monday (6/7) I'm going to know if my baby is a boy or a girl... Lucas or Julia. :)
Strobist info: only one light through umbrella on your left (580EX II) | 1/64 | 24mm, same setup as previous one.
A wedding dress is one of the most feminine things a woman could wear, and it felt so amazing to be wearing this one.

We were having dinner at the Black Cat as these folks walked on to the pier for a wedding pic. I snapped a few photos from our table. As they came back through the restaurant, the photographer laughed and asked, "Paparazzi?" That's Cancun in the distance.

My wedding season doesn't start til next month, so when Jason Q Tran asked if I have time to assist I just jumped to the chance. I've admired his work for quite a while and I have to admit I was a bit "star struck" when I met him in person.
Thanks, Jason!

Not my photo (obviously), but no suitable credit can be found. But as this is a scan of a genuine Edwardian photograph, I guess it's out of copyright.
I was given this photograph on Thursday after my grandmother's funeral (along with a collection of garden ornaments!). The picture includes her mother and father, and I think the wedding is of my Great Great Aunt Edith in 1913.
I just love the hats & frocks and rigid poses, so thought I'd share it here.
It's been a tiring and mixed-up week, but this photo raises a smile.
Explored 7th Septmber 2008.
I had a really nice couple at yesterdays wedding. It's been a few years since I've been to Upper Mill Plantation they have really fixed it up nice.

Shot my 5th wedding (ever) yesterday for Tegan and Billy. They were referred to me by Jessica who I had done some maternity pictures for back in May (www.flickr.com/photos/samuelrussell/8844212745/).
Anyways, the weather here was a bit odd - warm (15C in November) but very windy (which isn't so odd). There was also some off and on showers so we mostly shot indoors at the Rooms (local museum) and at the venue (The Reluctant Chef). While we were waiting for the ceremony to start, we had some time so we just popped outside the restaurant and got some natural light portraits. It's still fall so there were leaves and trees adding that great fall colour to everything. This shot is one of my favorites. I like moments, and this seems like a good one.
I'd also like to mention that Tegan was a joy to work with, very well planned and no drama whatsoever! She also had a great team around her and I'm sure I'll be posting more from this shoot soon. Anyways, that's it - enjoy!
Shot with D90 and 85mm f/1.8D
