Strange effect due to back light from low morning sun on the spider's web. Rarely for Skye, the air was very calm. I had been trying to persuade the spider to move down to the centre of its web, but it insisted on staying tucked up under the hydrangea leaf, but this did seem to give the nicest effect with the web.
this web was so finely wrought that
I could not see it the following day
after the rain had gone, I knew it was
there but had to closely peer before
I spotted it !

"The Tangled Web We Weave"
Lots of webs in the garden at the moment, but precious few spiders. They're probably all behind me...
zen pretty much comes
down to three things
everything changes
everything is connected
pay attention

Frosty spiders web on the railings by the wier at Etherow Country park, a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what the spiders thought of Jack Frost's enhancements to their webs!
A couple more shots below.
