Jonah Brucker-Cohen (@coinop2) shows us how to build custom public SMS input sessions using "Lively", a web-based texting platform that uses WEBGL that I worked on that allows for multiple participants to send messages to a shared public display.

Sam made this screenshot today. This is the active portion of the current version of the yt GUI (Reason), which is now in its fifth iteration. Britton, Cameron, Jeff, Sam and I have been working on it. It's a Web GUI, written in ExtJS, that requires no toolkit to be built but can still do really rad stuff like WebGL grid viewers (shown here) and plot window widgets for interactive panning and zooming (shown in tabs here).

 

When we finished the first iteration a few weeks ago, Britton said, "I'm looking forward to this being the last GUI we have to write." I think we might be at that point now.

 

I'm really, really jazzed up about this.
