Not everything is as it seems, not even this spider web. It may look perfect from a distance but when you look closer, you can tell that it’s not. I know that nothing’s ever perfect, but it’s okay. It’s what makes our world amazing, and it’s what makes us human.

These webs are fascinating. The silk is so closely woven. And some funnels are very narrow and long.

I spent some time shooting spider webs and came up with this series, many of which are significantly modified post-production.
I changed my mind about my photo for today. I was taking photos of spider's webs that I had sprayed with water so all the water droplets stuck to it. I originally chose a shot I did looking upwards with so you could see the blue sky behind the web, but now I think I prefer it on black.

This was a photo my 7yr old son took on his bridge camera, I have just looked through his pictures that he took at Brands Hatch last week and spotted this one of the armco barrier with a giant spiders web, I just had to share :)
