This greeted me in my frontyard one day. The spider had spun its web between a lamppost and a tree but had then disappeared. I hope it's not hidden somewhere waiting to pounce on me.
While poking around underneath a big flowering tree in Livorna Park searching for yellow flowers, I ran across this wonderfully constructed spider web. I was lucky that the low angle of the sun at golden hour caused the web to reflect nicely in the backlight. The bokeh consists of light pouring through gaps in the leaves of the tree as well as its yellow flowers reflecting.

Saw this web on my way to work, and decided to replace my earlier submission to the group with this one.
Due to the misty weather, the cobwebs on bicycles, fences, etc. were "endowed" with dew droplets.
Lensbaby 2.0 f/4.0. Well photographed church near Allenspark, Colorado. I usually try to keep the HDR work natural but decided to push it a little on this one. ;)
This spider web was glistening one dull morning. It looks quite neat in b&w. Pity the spider wasnt sitting on it for a pose!
