Photography is just that...a Mesmerizing Passion...a this self portrait, for me, translate exactly that :)
The Enol Lake in Asturies is a site for sore eyes. To get the chance to see it without heavy clouds and fog we had to go up there three times but it was worth it!
The Enol is part of the Lakes of Covadonga (el. 1134 m.) that are composed of two glacial lakes located on the region of Asturias, Spain. These lakes, often also called Lakes of Enol or simply Los Lagos, are Lake Enol and Lake Ercina located in the Picos de Europa range and they are the original center of the Picos de Europa National Park, created in 1918.
The road ascending from Covadonga to the lakes is a popular climb in professional road bicycle racing, having been used by Vuelta a España many times in the last 25 years.
This a truly fantastic and mesmerizing place and it certainly worth getting up that road three times in 24 hours:)

IV Corps was responsible for holding the center of 2nd Army's front line northeast of Bălți. Due to IV Corps being the last unit to reach Bessarabia, they had limited time to prepare their sector, and their lines had the least defense in depth of any Romanian position at the start of the battle. While the Soviets initially intended to encircle the Romanians and deal with the central force last, their attacks that intended to simply put pressure on IV Corps quickly broke through. When the Soviets decided to funnel in their reserves, the Romanians broke into a rout. Some units managed to make it to the streets of Bălți just in time to reorganize, and street fighting broke out while the rest of the corps retreated. These units were able to hold out for another day before a second, more orderly retreat to the bridgehead was conducted.
The loss at Bălți would tarnish the reputation of both 2nd Army and the Romanian Army as a whole. It was the only battle during the Battle for Bessarabia where Romanian casualties were greater than the Soviets, losing about almost a full division of men and equipment in the chaos, and the only battle where a Romanian unit of that size was forced into a rout rather than withdrawing after a successful defense. Their retreat would eventually lead to the destabilization of the entire northern sector of the front, although by the time this happened the Soviet 12th Army had also taken enough casualties to be essentially taken out of action.
Ultimately, this loss would cause the Romanian High Command to reassess several of their strategies. The decision to place 2nd Army in the north of Bessarabia, even though it had to be transferred from Transylvania and had to move through Chișinău by rail anyway, was called into question. The rapid evacuation of 2nd Army's headquarters from Bălți exposed the weaknesses of the army's then still telephone-based communication systems, and a push was made in the high command to begin standardizing radios. Lastly, they were forced to address the fact that, just one week into the war, the morale of the ordinary infantrymen was beginning to deteriorate.

Mirit Ben Nun: Shortness of breath 'Shortness of breath' is not only a sign of physical weakness, it is a metaphor for a mental state of strong desire that knows no repletion; more and more, an unbearable glut, without repose. Mirit Ben Nun's type of work on the other hand requires an abundance of patience. This is a Sisyphean work (requiring hard labor) of marking lines and dots, filling every empty millimeter with brilliant blots. Therefore we are facing a paradox or a logical conflict. A patient and effortful work that stems from an urgent need to cover and fill, to adorn and coat. Her craft of layering reaches a state of a continuous ceremonial ritual. This ritual digests every object into itself - useful or discarded -- available and ordinary or rare and exceptional -- they submit and devote to the overlay work. Mirit BN gathers scrap off the streets -- cardboard rolls of fabric, assortments of wooden boards and pieces, plates and planks -- and constructs a new link, her own syntax, which she alone is fully responsible for. The new combination -- a type of a sculptural construction -- goes through a process of patching by the act of painting. In fact Mirit regards her three dimensional objects as a platform for painting, with a uniform continuity, even if it has obstacles, mounds and valleys. These objects beg her to paint, to lay down colors, to set in motion an intricate weave of abstract patterns that at times finds itself wandering the contours of human images and sometimes -- not. In those cases what is left is the monotonous activity of running the patterns, inch by inch, till their absolute coverage, till a short and passing instant of respite and than on again to a new onset. Next to this assembly of garbage and it's recycling into 'painted sculptures' Mirit offers a surprising reunion between her illustrated objects and so called cheap African sculpture; popular artifacts or articles that are classified in the standard culture as 'primitive'. This combination emphasizes the difference between her individualistic performance and the collective creation which is translated into cultural clichés. The wood carved image creates a moment of peace within the crowded bustle; an introverted image, without repetitiveness and reverberation. This meeting of strangers testifies that Mirit' work could not be labeled under the ´outsiders art´ category. She is a one woman school who is compelled to do the art work she picked out to perform. Therefore she isn't creating ´an image´ such as the carved wooden statues, but she produces breathless ´emotional jam' whose highest values are color, motion, beauty and plenitude. Origin: The computer program "Roboy" was created by the First Guardian (a cosmic being sworn to protect the Earth) when the Craniad attempted to enslave humanity. As Roboy was meant to protect the entire planet, the First built him with many different defense mechanisms. Roboy can launch heat days from his eyes and hands, is invulnerable (he can transfer his program to a different machine if his body is destroyed), and extremely intelligent, able to access any information almost instantaneously on the internet (though this is not possible if there is no Wifi connection). Roboy joined the Stupendous Seven after the Craniad was driven off. Although he is arguably the most powerful member of the team, Roboy does not understand modern slang and expressions, making him a pain to communicate with.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。
