here i must thank my sister for spending half an hour 'drowning' in the swimming pool while wearing a dress while on holiday. taken on a disposable waterproof camera, colour film. edited on photoshop.

A big nurse shark rests the afternoon away just outside of the fierce current in the passage among the Red Mangrove roots.

Hopefully, the hook and leader will rust out soon. I had a chance to inspect it up close, and didn't see any line entanglement. I tried to offer to do a little surgery, but foolishly, I took 3 years of Hammerhead in high school and can't speak a word of Nurse.

We've always seen a few nurse sharks at this spot before, and the biggest I've ever seen once was spotted nearby, but on this particular day, with the current raging through the narrow gap on the tip of Wahoo, there were two, well hidden, within about 6 feet of each other.
