Despite its name this waterfall is located on Reunion island.
It is at its best during raining season, that means right now :D.
Specially today, while the typhoon called Berguita is hitting the island...
thanks for the visit
Wild waterfalls in the Valle d'Aran. We got up and saw that the snow began to cover the highest peaks. With the autumn arrived rains, snow and fog. The waters descend forming beautiful waterfalls like this one.

Another image from yesterday's trip to RG. After going through my images in Lightroom, I discovered I like the photographs that I took of the smaller falls and the creek meandering through the rocks in its path. I'll remember this next time I visit RG. I also need to get to Adams Falls, which I just learned, is in a different area of the park.
Thank you for visiting my Photostream and for your faves and comments
After the heavy rain over the past few days, I thought the waterfalls might be fast flowing. Alas Not
This is one of the smaller side streams that feeds into one of the main creeks there in the glen. It was flowing very well on this particular visit that had recent heavy rains the night before. Many times it had no or very little flow when I have been there.
Right before the desert of emstrur theres a small bridge and this nearby waterfall.
Then the laugavegur trail in ICELAND enters the black desert of emstrur.
Rains brought on by the southwest monsoon in the Philippines more voluminous water flow for falls like Hinulugang Taktak in Antipolo, Rizal province.
Just off the path to the Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye on a drizzly April day.
Happy Waterfall Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.

Jigokudani (地獄谷) or "Hell Valley" is a spectacular, appropriately named valley just above the town of Noboribetsu Onsen, which displays hot steam vents, sulfurous streams and other volcanic activity. It is a main source of Noboribetsu's hot spring waters.

I have never been so wet... The spray coming from the waterfall plus the wind blowing against the rocks made this shot almost impossible. I tried until my towel was completely wet (I had only two, and need the other for Seljalandsfoss. I absolutely loved getting inside this place. Although the conditions weren't that favourable, I felt like a kid. This shot is more like to remember the good times how great adventures can be.

I'm willing to bet that this is the only photo of this place on the entire internet, because it's an absolute bitch to get to (it's also technically on private land, but we have arrangement). I'm running out of little waterfalls now that are within walking distance of my house (I only know of 2 other ones that I haven't already posted pictures of), however this one won't be repeated anytime soon because of the difficulty of getting there. However if we get another storm or a lot of rain in a short space of time again, this is the first place I'm going to go to!
Went up into the mountains today ....Ok when i sent off it WASN'T raining ....when i got to this usually small mountain stream the heavens opened and the wind really started ....This is in for the day i thought to myself as is seat in my waterproofs huddled beside that rock ...Time for a quick exit .....
