These were the first pair of "water shoes" I owned, perhaps 15 years ago. I think from Walmart, but I don't even remember. They are branded Aqua Gear.
They are men's 7, EU 40, or at least that's what the tag says. But they are quite snug, and the stitching over the top of my instep irritated my feet. I eventually pulled out the stitching around the top which made them more wearable, but still didn't wear them much.
I hadn't worn them for years. This summer I saw them when digging out a different pair and decided to wear them. I quickly discovered they are falling apart, the rubber sole is crumbling in places, and coming detached from the upper most everywhere..
I think I'll wear them on one of my afternoon hikes, and see how much is left by the end of the hike!

Sherree thinks it's funny that my Keen watershoes have left me with a Zebra-striped suntan. Of course, I got the tan when canoeing all last week.

We went to Lewisville today and it was the first time Tiger went to the river. I thought he would Love it a lot because he has taken showers everyday with my Mom since the day we got him. And he also loves being sprayed with the hose, he goes crazy!
But he ended up only liking the river when he didnt actually have to swim. So whe sat in the floaty with my Mom a lot.

These are the best water shoes I've ever seen. Convertible to clogs. My friend Allen refused to appear in public with me if I wore them. But for rocky waters, they're gonna be perfect! And they're all the rage in Vancouver this summer. Trust me on this one.
He'd walked into the ocean up to his knees, but beyond that the waves threatened to knock him over. Thus, it was time to carry him away.
