Oddly, my main water supply comes down from the ceiling. The elbow below the stopcock splits the cold between the kitchen sink or back up to the airing cupboard - this elbow will almost certainly need to be moved. The pipe on the right is the hot water supply coming down from the airing cupboard.

Oh yes, the main is lead. Lovely.

Haarlem has a beautiful art-deco railway station. It celebrates its 100th year this year. On Saturday August 30, 2008 celebrations were held at the station. Two steam locomotives and two old electric ones made their appearance and drove all days between Haarlem and the sea-side town Zandvoort. There were some other old and new trains too.

Ahh, Friday, wonderful. Got plenty of work done and even managed to work in a short nap. Last night I was up again until 4am, was tired.

This evening I wanted to watch a movie, we got National Treasure 2 on DVD, been waiting to see it. But, there was a basketball game on that Eric wanted to watch... BORING. Come on it's not like he even watches the whole thing, we could have watched a movie and then stopped periodically to check the score, or check it online. So, instead I went outside to work on my garden, pulled some grass out and planted a few plants that we got the other day. It wasn't bad outside this late. Cadence helped me some and I found a frog in the watermeter hole that she had fun playing with.

Now this evening I'm enjoying sitting down and relaxing, drinking a Bacardi Ice and looking at my rock collection. I fiddled around with longer exposures on my tripod. This shot isn't perfectly focused, but I tried my best.
