A well photographed waterfall from our day trip to North Wales. I'm trying to improve my landscape technique at the moment after a day out with our friend and accomplished landscape photographer John Starkey. The weather forecast was completely wrong, so we didn't manage to do as much as we'd hoped, but the walk through the woods to this little waterfall was lovely.

We were enjoying the tranquillity of the location until someone on the adjacent estate started blasting away with a shotgun at regular intervals, oh well....

I did like the colour of the rocks here. This is a beautiful walk and one I will do again. Do have some more shots to share.

After all the rain in the last days there is a lot of water in streams, rivers and waterfalls.

Just experimenting with tone mapping.. I don't think I would want to publish every photograph with this effect but it is a tool and I have seen some amazing photographs using this type of process. (not that this is amazing..its just me playing around) weather has been very overcast too.

Waterfall in the great state of Pennsylvania. Hoping to get back here this Fall ... if I am lucky.

Iceland has many spectacular waterfalls and this is one of them.

The Rhine Falls is the largest plain waterfall in Europe. The falls are located on the High Rhine between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen, near the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, They are 150 m wide and 23 m high. In the winter months, the average water flow is 250 m³/s, while in the summer, the average water flow is 700 m³/s.

Wild waterfalls in the Valle d'Aran. We got up and saw that the snow began to cover the highest peaks. With the autumn arrived rains, snow and fog. The waters descend forming beautiful waterfalls like this one.
