This is another bottle-less water cooler we installed to replace the old water cooler. This unit is connected to a reverse osmosis system installed in the mechanical room adjacent to this room. The old system had to constantly be sanitized due to a re-occurring slime that would grow in the cooler. The new system is totally sealed to keep the pure water safe.

This is my 1973 Thing (Type 181) that I have done a few modifications to...I cut off the rear sheetmetal because of rust, sandblasted everything, made it into a two-door by cutting and splicing the front and rear doors together to make each door eight inches longer than stock. Because of that, I moved my doorpost back eight inches. I had to replace one side of the outside ribbed section below the doors (with a custom-made piece) due to rust.I did make a bed for this, which bolts up to six bolts for easy access to the engine and tranny, out of 1 1/4 in. mild steel square tubing and sheetmetal (which I welded with a 220v Hobart MIG welder. Wish I had a TIG, but what can you do?). Um, I made some stepside out of just some steel, but I am putting diamond plate steps on it that I made by shortening some diamond plate aluminum steps meant for the side of trucks. I also am filling the inside of the bed with polished diamond plate aluminum, which I have cut but I need to have it bent. I made a triangular piece to put in the front fender wells, because I am making fenders that are slanted at the same degree as the ribs on the front sides. I made a front brush bar, but I think it is too thin-guaged of metal to make it off-road worthy, but I am going to make matching front and rear tube bumpers someday. I am also going to need to make those fenders, either from scratch or by adjusting (with a saw and welder) some meant for trailers. I'm going to put on 28" front tires and 30" rears, if all goes according to plan, and I want them mounted on five-star wide-bolt rims. I have a bus tranny (3 rib?) and axles, so I see a 2x3 inch rear suspension in my future. I rebuilt my 1600 dual-port, but it was quite badly done, honestly. I am going to have to do it again. I want to put in a Subie engine, but I really dont' have the money, and I've done enough to make it less VW-like anyways. I might someday put in a 1.8 VW watercooler...but lets get it running first, eh? I have to do all the wiring yet, put back in the engine, etc, etc. But it's coming. It's been four years since I've started it, and I really have been working on it by the definition of "off and on".

MindRight for Athletes Society Delivers Mental Health Awareness and Resources to Young Athletes with HeadCheck Health

- New partnership will see MindRight's mental health and wellness program available to athletes through HeadCheck's software platform
Kelowna, BC - MindRight for Athletes Society ('MindRight') and HeadCheck Health ("HeadCheck") today announced a new partnership to advance athlete health and wellness by making MindRight's resources and peer-to-peer support available through HeadCheck's mobile app and web-based software platform.
"I believe we have helpful resources available for youth and need to support them to get help if they need it," said Myles Mattila, Project Developer and Spokesperson for MindRight.
Myles Mattila, currently a junior hockey player with the Kelowna Chiefs and business student at Okanagan College, developed MindRight after being inspired by the story of late Vancouver Canuck Rick Rypien. Myles thought of a friend who struggled with his mental health and developed MindRight to educate athletes, coaches, parents, and supporters about their mental health and the health of others. MindRight aims to provide information about available local resources, and help players make connections with the services they might need. MindRight will work within the community to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.
"Myles continues to do an incredible job in raising mental health awareness in a way that resonates with young athletes," said Harrison Brown, CEO of HeadCheck Health. "We're happy to provide our platform to support his initiative and make more resources available to athletes and their support network."

Kerry's little one Zach walked away to get some water, about a minute later we went to see what he was up to and this is what we found. If you use Mixx you might be familiar with this little guy. His photo will pop up every now and then. Not too much though because we don't like showing you those pages a lot (on some of the error pages, 500, 502, etc)

When Friends in Heartlake City need police action or a police patrol, they can handle it!
The HeartLake Police Station has a jail, water-cooler, file cabinet, and duty desk with a stun-gun. Since HeartLake is a pretty friendly place, the station is quiet most of the time.
Well, except for the sound of whirling blades of the PatrolCopter coming back from patrolling the Lake!

The purpose of this creation is to demonstrate that a girl, who may be new to LEGO building, can build anything with her imagination, even with just one Friends set!

At the Marina Barrage. Jeanne chose this location because of the water cooler. I chose it because I fell in love with the textures of the wall... who cares what the groom thinks... =P
Am I done catching up yet? It seems like it's taking forever and I haven't had the chance to shoot more 365 related stuff. Nor edit stuff that I've taken these couple weeks.
I feel like I have to catch myself up first before I start "fresh". If you know what I mean.
