Late afternoon in the garden. It was a warm March day and I was enjoying a float made with frozen raspberries and blackberries in pure seltzer water.

Water on top of thick ice and a reflection of the land above.
I enjoyed the warmer weather yesterday and took my small electric chain saw out to clear some debris from the areas I like to walk through in our valley and along the steep hillsides.
I couldn't resist bringing a camera. This was an interesting sight in a colorless forest.
So, I finally got well enough from this pernicious cold I've been fighting for more than three weeks, to take a stroll in the woods with the cats, on a warm day.
Not much going on in the woods yet, so I was hunkered down to shoot some flowering moss in the sunshine, but, as you see, I got photobombed!
Below in the comments I am adding a shot of Braveheart (the photobomber himself) sitting on the mossy log.

Lots of snow last winter means lots of meltwater this spring. There are places where the forest looks quite different from usual.

On an over 60 degree day I ran out to good old nearby Corbett's Glen. The park was loaded with people as you would expect on a day like this.
An attempt at a candid composition that contrasts a pair of friends with the crowd behind them. Cropped to 2x1 format, just to try something different.

Wide-angle view (24mm equiv) of the back patio of a local coffee shop and bakery. Too hot this summer for it to get much use.
I apologize for the moire on the siding. Press L on the keyboard to see a larger version with no moire.

The first warm day in a while in Amsterdam. This usually means people spend time on the water in their little boats.
