i've seen tv crews in cars with taped identification on them in war zones so they don't get bombed (assuming the enemy wouldnt want to bomb tv crews)
The Minard War Memorial is located at Tullongorm, a couple of miles South West of the village.
The memorial is on the side of the hill above the main A83.
Quite eroded and difficult to read the inscription.

Taken at the top of Mount Greylock which is the highest point in Massachusetts at 3,491 ft./1,064 m. These are old worn down hills and mountains that are part of the Appalachians - the Berkshires, Taconic Ridge, etc. The memorial is 93 ft. tall and was dedicated in 1933. There is also a lodge very nearby. Views of 5 states can be seen from the top of the mountain and this beacon can be seen for 70 miles. Pittsfield, Williamstown and North Adams are nearby. You can head east by way of the Mohawk Trail if you leave by the north side.

War & Peace switch at Arholma coastal battery.
In "peace" mode, a soldier has to stand on the turret and look for civilians entering the firing range. If someone entered the area of fire, he released a safety switch, preventing the gun from firing.
614: Due to its strategic position during World War II, Malta was the target of German and Italian bombing attacks. The island endured the heaviest conventional bombardment of the entire war. To honor the valor of the Maltese people, King George VI awarded the George Cross to the "Island Fortress of Malta" in 1942. The cross appears today on the Maltese flag.
