The next photos i'll be posting were taken during a short walk in Insa-dong...some of the photos I composed and some were just shot from from the chest (rather than from the hip)...so you can see a bit of this neighborhood and the people I saw there...
I loved that hat...and isn't the little girl adorable?

Took this while walking the trail at Look Rock on the Foothills Parkway. The color was so beautiful. I think I had a smile on my face the entire day. It was a great day for my husband and me. Lots to see and photograph.

201 class Irish Rail 233 seen shunting over the Rotal Canal north of Connolly Station in the "common " livery, but more affectionally known as the racoon livery given the colours.
231 and 233 are painted in this livery for temporary days asigned to the Enterprise days. Its always a treat to get a shot of them.
Snapped from the recently upgraded Royal Canal greenway path/ cycleway linking Newcomen Bridge & Docklands, affording some new angles for rail photos, along with a shortcut.

If loneliness surrounds you
And rain clouds always hang around you
And waking up each day gets you down
And if the life that you're leading
Seems hollow, then maybe what you're needing
Is someone to turn your world around
[Take my hand] Come take my hand and walk with me [And walk awhile]
Let me teach you how to smile
And Ill show you skies where gentle breezes blow~~~~~~Gladys Knight

A Facebook friend writes a critique whenever she posts a photo. I enjoy reading them as they give me an extra insight into her shots. So I thought I’d try it myself. It makes me think more about what I am shooting, and why.
Away for a day.
A man strolls on the beach soaking in the warm rays of the evening sunshine. A slow shutter speed and slight camera movement enhance the relaxed feel of a summer evening. The green hills stop the eye wandering totally off the edge and guide the viewer back to the main subject.
Slightly ahead of him, two birds play on the shore. They are very much in the periphery as the man is lost in thought.
Spontaneity leads to pleasant surprises and a return to the novelty of photography before rules existed.
"walk with me".... This is Maldives, the Sunny Side of Life.
