Its easy to see why the new Matchbox Highway Speeders five vehicle set is very appealing with its 100% licensed content and uniquely recoloured castings. A very sharp looking 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX in German Polizei livery. Found recently at Tesco. Mint and boxed.

Spring time in Rhode Island is one of my two favorite seasons for photography and driving. Happy it's finally here again!

A look back at almost 1 full year ago with the WRX in Bristol.

April 2020

Another year, another H2O. This one was not the same as the rest. It rained the whole week and this was the first year without Tex. It was really hard to go down there and fully enjoy it as usual.

Hai Guise!

This is my buddy Eric Chang and his 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon. I know what many of you may already be thinking, "WRX's shouldn't be stanced because they're designed to go fast" blah blah blah. Now a days, anything that can be stanced, will be stanced. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "stanced" you probably shouldn't even be reading this. So get out, but seriously.

A few months back Eric had his eyes set on Rotiform BLQ's, unfortunately Rotiform was out of stock...for days...then weeks...then months. Finally after months of refreshing Rotiform's homepage and seeing "out of stock" Eric finally found a pair of BLQs, and oh man. I've known Eric for many years but the day he got his BLQ's was easily one of the happiest days I've ever seen him.

Eric is very similar to many car enthusiasts, he speaks car language like many of us do. To some people TE37, BLQ, CE28, NUE, RS and LM are just randomly generated letters and numbers, but to us they are wheels. A big part in a cars aesthetics and handling dynamics. After seeing Eric put many randomly generated letters/numbers on his car, I think he is finally going to settle with the letters B, L and Q.

This interesting Subaru Impreza WRX STi was driving along Graf-Adolf-Straße. Interestingly, this car is RHD, and i'm 99% sure that it's a UK-market example. One clue which leads me to this includes the circle on the passenger-side of the windscreen, which looks to be remains of a tax-disc holder. The owner could be a UK-expat, or someone who really likes their Subarus, with the UK having a lot of UK-only, limited edition models. The car was also locally registered.

Testing my new-to-me Lomo LC-A (Ломо ЛКА branding).

It's a fun little camera but I miss focus a lot more than with the Minox, which is by all measures a much superior camera and still more portable. I'll try one more roll in it but so far it doesn't impress.

Developed in a 20-year-old unopened Tetenal C-41 powder kit. Absolutely zero issues except some of the blix and stabilizer powders didn't want to dissolve so I had to strain them through coffee filters. No negative (get it?) effects on developing.
